Super enjoyable, we sat on the outdoor patio very nice. The servers are all super friendly and I love how they chat effortlessly with the diners and how they help out each other clearing tables, etc. The menu choices were really good plus they have daily food specials. Everything we had was very tasty. Reservations are recommended. Great place for date nights or getting together with girlfriends. Kid-friendliness: Not the best place to bring young children
First time dining here for lunch and it was good. Service was great although the indoor seating was a bit tight. Salad, grilled seafood and seafood spaghetti all great except the gnocchi was just average. Would still return and try other things on the menu.
So good. I've dine at Il Postino's many times, and never have I been disappointed. When making your selection, it comes down to personal preference because I've had different items on the menu and they were all delicious. I really like how the main dishes come out nice and warm. Definitely check this place out! Make a reservation in advance because like all hot spots, tables go fast!
Company of two had dinner here on a not so busy Thursday evening. Reception and waiting were good. However, without booking, we have to sit indoor facing the kitchen n next to stairs for outdoor dining reservation is strongly recommended. Food and drink were satisfactory. Grilled scallops were excellent but octopus was tough and charred in the seafood platter. The mushroom & truffle pizza was delicious, recommended if you like vegetarian pizza.
Amazing food!! They are usually fully packed so having a reservation before is helpful. Their best is pappardelle funghi. It's deliciously creamy and cheesy with lots of truffle mushrooms and a light sprinkling of parsley is just the cherry on top. Chicken Parmigiana was also really good. The chicken was tender and juicy and well cooked. Love their food. Breads are freshly baked and served right out of oven. Just ask them beforehand to not sprinkle too much salt crystals on the bread and food and viola!
Great atmosphere and great service but will give the food an average rating. They forgot the cheese that was the main ingredient on one of the salads. They use canned hot peppers instead of making their own and the kitchen staff were not wearing masks for most of the night. Wearing your mask on your chin doesn’t count
This place had great reviews and so decided to do my birthday lunch here. It was fairly busy with a few Christmas parties so it made for a lively atmosphere. The service was fast and the food looked and tasted incredible. May be my new go to for Italian food.Food: 5/5
The food and service here were absolutely amazing. The bruschetta and Caesar salad were great, the mushroom pasta was very creamy and flavourful, the pizzas were perfectly cooked and the spaghetti pomodoro was delicious. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner and I will definitely be back!
Really good 2-story Italian restaurant in Unionville with attentive service. I went there on a Saturday night and it was packed, but luckily still had a small table near the bar. It is recommended to make reservations. The waiter took time to explain specials and menu recommendations. Adequate sized portions are served for pizzas and pastas.
We had an amazing time here for lunch. Service was excellent and for starters there was this freshly baked bread. Smelt and tasted great and we asked for extra. We ordered the pappardelle funghi and it tasted amazing! It was very creamy and full of mushroom flavour with strong black truffle smell. We also ordered the parma pizza. It was light and crispy and full of flavour as well. For main we got the chicken parmigiana, chicken was perfect and the spaghetti was up to standard. Overall a delightful experience with happy tummy. Will definitely visit again!
