This place is in a beautiful location with little local shops all around to shop and support. Once your done shopping this place offers you a beautiful array of dishes, including pizza cooked in a wood stove. The pizza is cooked in front of you as well for your delight. The severs are knowledgeable about menu and friendly. The food is Amazing. When you are in the areas I suggest you try it and you will not be disappointed.

Went there for christmas eve. The place was busy. They put us in a table for two, a bit isolated, the waitress didn't see us, so we waited for a little.But when she noticed, she apologized for that and she was so nice. I ordered a gnocchi and my husband pizza. Both were very good.Food: 5/5

this place is such a good dinner restaurant if you just want to go out on danforth. the owner always serves us and is very helpful. usually try and get pasta I usually don’t have often and I try and get a new pasta every time I come. aside from the pasta, my friend and i usually split bread with butter and balsamic. love going here 2 usually go every 2 months would definitely recommend.

We went to Il Fornello for dinner and it was amazing! We got the Vegan Meatballs for appetizers and then for mains got the: Penne Alla Norma, Eggplant Parmigiana, Margherita Pizza, Pizza Carciofi, and the Vegan Orecchiette Funghi. All were great but the Orecchiette was a bit undercooked and not as great as we expected. For dessert we got Tiramisu, Carrot Cake and Chocolate Soufflé Cake - all were very delicious. The service was fast and we can’t wait to come back!

First time dining here and loved it. Patio was private enough you couldn’t see much of the passerbys but still open enough you could see dogs of all sizes. Interior was cute. Food was delicious and service was wonderful and friendly. The vegan menu is quite large and they can provide an ingredient list for these items which was super helpful! Didn’t try dessert this time but will next time!

Polo pesto floating in oil I am a frequent customer at this restaurant. However, the past year the food and staff quality have been lacking. I recently went for dinner with 4 others and we ordered various dishes all of which were not that great. In fact I generally say when the food here is not good at least the service made up for the quality of the food. Not this time. The poor young women who served us I think her name was Melanie was -brutal. Sorry for being honest but enough already, the quality of food the quality of staff needs to be addressed or folks like me will not keep giving you chances to improve.

Still thinking about my dish weeks later. It was so nice to have a normal and vibrant eating experience again. Took my bestie to a concert but since concerts never start on time I made dinner reservations. Even arriving a bit late the hostess was accommodating and courteous and seated us at just the right table. We both ordered the squash ravioli I believe and I’m still salivating. Each ravioli piece was thick and filling. The sauce was creamy and complimented the pasta perfectly. The waitress was great too. She handled our orders well and cracked a few jokes. The Negroni was perfectly mixed with just the right amount of ice. A lovely return to the Danforth strip we had. Thank you for having us!

It is such a lovely place with a very friendly staff! We were a group of >10 people celebrating a birthday and the staff really joined in and helped us in all the ways! I reached just at the time when the kitchen was closing but the staff were really kind to consider my order. I had vegan orecchiette funghi pasta and it was delicious! We sat in the restaurant because it was too cold for patio, and the music really added to the vibe of the place! I would highly recommend this place :

Nice restaurant on the Danforth with other locations located around the GTA. Food was decent for what it was however the portions provided for what you paid were a little off especially in terms for carbs to protein ratio. Service was quick and friendly. The kitchen made a mistake on our order which resulted in us getting one meal long before the other. Our server was apologetic for it and comp'd us for the other meal which was very nice of them. Would recommend this place if you're looking for decent italian food.

Amazing food with amazing vegan options… the best for me was the vegan butter after 10 years of being vegan have the chance to taste butter again blow my mind don’t loose the oportunity
