Ikoi Sushi

They have a good variety of sushi choices on their menu but I found their sushi rice lacked the usual plumpness, sweetness, and vinegar flavor other places have. The sushi was not bad, but overall, quite average. For the price you pay, I have had nicer and tastier sushi at the same price or cheaper. It still does the job of satisfying a sushi craving though. Like a standard neighborhood sushi place.

Very delicious and fresh sushi! You can definitely taste the quality. The servers are very friendly. Overall great experience. A very small place, recommend to book a reservation! I would definitely keep coming back.

We have been coming here for a sushi night out for years. There are various favourites on the menu and we have never had a complaint. The staff is very friendly and there's lots of parking out front. Heads-up... It is a smaller venue so call ahead just in case they are experiencing a rush.

Japanese owned and operated sushi spot on New West. We really like the Uni Ikura Don, and the Aji Tataki was also delicious. All the nigiri we ordered were great as well. Service was also very nice!

This is our new neighborhood go-to sushi place for takeout, and sometimes dine in required reservation. It's small inside, but the food is fresh, tasty, and superior to some of the chain sushi restaurants we've visited in the past. The Japanese staff are friendly and efficient. They have new menu specials often. While not cheap, the value is there if you want a satisfying meal every time... and still a better deal than other types of cuisine for a family of 4! Consistently excellent. Ikoi is tucked away in a tiny New West shopping plaza next to Chicko Chicken and Papa Leo pizza. My family gets takeaway from here every few weeks, and dine in every few months.

A hidden gem. If you want to know what a sushi restaurant experience is like in Japan, go here. It's a simple menu done well. Decent prices, consistently great food. Japanese owned. I rarely give 5 stars.

My go-to sushi place in Sapperton! The family that owns and runs this restaurant is very sweet. The sushi is always so fresh, flavourful and delicious. Definitely worth it!

This is the place I go when I miss authentic Japanese food. There are so many “sushi” restaurants in the lower mainland but you know it is real sushi when they ask you if you want wasabi inside your nigiri. Their kaki fry tastes just like how my grandmother used to make. I feel that they make honest & affordable food yet so fresh and tasty.

Really wholesome food, made by chefs that are respectful to ingredients. Service is always polite and sincere. I wish this place become busier. Will come here when ever near the hood.

Japanese run sushi restaurant with friendly staff and good food. Everything was fresh and the Maguro and Uni were tasty. We will be back to try all the other menu items as we liked it so much. Great hidden susi gem in New Westminster. Glad to have stumbled upon it as it's tucked away in a plaza off Columbia street right by RC Hospital.
