Excellent service, sushi was remarkably fresh and flavors all paired very well. My wife and I both had trouble deciding which of the four we liked best. Wabisabi My Ex Ikkai Zesty salmon All four were delicious
This was such a great place! The best sushi we’ve had. Very cool atmosphere and the service was great and our server gave great recommendations we tried all her recommendations and loved everything! So fresh and the sauces super flavorful!Food: 5/5
Let's get the cons out of the way. This place is very small. You'll feel cramped if you choose to sit in the aisle. Also your order will take a while to be made. But sitting at the bar gave me a look at how fast the chefs are working at making each sushi order. These guys know what they're doing. And the sushi tastes amazing in my opinion. The fish tastes fresh, tender, almost sweet. None of the fishy flavor comes out that you taste in some cheaper restaurants. The zesty maki with lemon zest was my favorite roll. Definitely worth coming by. But if you're hungry, maybe order a miso or appetizer.
I love the food! The sushi is the closest to what I tasted in Japan. Small amount of rice, and perfect moist : I love the unagi sushi as well! Not fishy, perfect amount of sauce, just enough sweet! The yaki udon was tasty. It almost tastes like how okonomiyaki tastes like but with udon! The only downside is how long it takes for our food to come out. We sat for over an hour before our mains came out. Not to mention that in the end one of the items we ordered didn’t come out. Thankfully they’re kind to refund the $$. Again, food is good.
Wow!! Just Wow!! These amazing foods will make you taste of heaven. Just amazing. Also the interior is so modern and clean. The staffs are incredibly kind and supportive. Also, I cannot miss the plating of each dish. When you visit here, you will understand what the foods are delicious from just seeing them. It is a gem of downtown naperville. Strongly recommended!!
This is by far the best sushi in Naperville and the surrounding areas. My wife and I went here for a chefs dinner and were blown away. We have been back about a half dozen times since. 10/10 cannot recommend highly enough
Went here over the holidays with some friends and we enjoyed our time. We had a reservation and were able to be seated right away definitely would recommend getting a reservation if you’re planning to come because the space is tiny and can fill up fast!. The decor and vibes in the restaurant are super cool and unique for the area, and I love that there’s an open bar where you can watch the chefs prepare the sushi. I removed one star because it took about an hour for our food to come out after we had placed an order with our waitress. Once our food came out, however, I was really impressed with the presentation of our rolls and everything tasted great. Definitely will come back to enjoy again!
The wait was quite long but we got lucky and an earlier reservation was cancelled. It was nice of the staff to let our walk-in fill the spot. We tried a mix of all the vegetarian sushi and a couple of the specialty maki rainbow, zesty, "this", and ocean prime. Everything was amazing, and the vegetarian options were surprisingly good. One of the better sushi spots I've been to in the burbs.
Everything was awesome. Interior, music, mood, especially food. This food was sooo delicious that it makes me happy. I just want to say I glad to know this restaurant.
The best uni and toro in town! Definitely worth one hour drive from Chicago. Love the balance between freshness and the variety of sauce. Will be back very soon!!!
