Ihop GTA

This is a really great place if you're not in a big rush and don't mind a bit of a wait while the new staff figure out their flow. This is to be expected for a new restaurant so I didn't want to dock a star for that. The Cowboy Burger was perfection. One of the better burgers I've had. I'm not much of a burger gal, but this might turn me into one. The Oreo Cookie Shake was amazing. Hand-made, with an almost full metal shake cup on the side, you basically get 2 shakes for the price of one. It made sharing less painful : The staff was polite and greeted us at the door and sat us right away. Our server Britney was great. She checked in with us frequently to keep us up to date. Over all the restaurant had a nice, clean atmosphere, the washrooms were well maintained and I always saw someone tidying up. We will definitely be returning again.

Great breakfast spot. The staff are polite and tended to my table in a timely manner. The dining room were not crowded and wasn't excessively loud. My meal was missing the avocado garnish but once I mentioned it, the staff were quick to rectify the issue. The cashier was attentive and refilled my coffee as needed. She didn't linger by the table which I appreciated as I read and responded to emails during my meal. The food was served in a timely manner and was hot and fresh. I Will definitely be back. Parking: Lots of parking available.

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. Even though there was a bit of a wait, it was absolutely worth it. The service was friendly and fast. The pancakes were super light and fluffy, will definitely be visiting again!Food: 5/5

Was a little discouraged by all the bad reviews but still decided to visit this. The dining area was quite clean. Staff was very friendly. Our server Jennet was amazing. All the food we ordered was ready within 15-20 minutes. Food was tasty and tasted fresh. Avocado toast tasted delicious. Jennet keeps checking with us if we needed anything and was very helpful. The staff is new and they are still learning things but everything was perfect.

I was a little bit skeptical coming here at first after reading all the bad reviews, but we decided to come and try anyway. We went early like at 9am. This might have made a difference from the bad reviews I’ve read, because we actually had a good experience. Getting a table was super quick, and once we were sat and ready to order, it didn’t take long for a server to come. Our food was great. The pancakes and french toasts were good, and the milkshakes were soooo good especially the strawberry. The hashbrown and eggs were okay, and the turkey bacon was good it wasn’t too salty. We also didn’t wait long to pay for the bill. Shout out to our server, MINA she was friendly and always smiling!!! She was great, and even brought me 2 different types of hot sauce, and ketchup. She kept checking back with us to make sure everything was okay! I didn’t get the name of the host, but she greeted us with a smile, and was friendly as well. Overall, I would say our first time coming here was a good experience!

My goodness... Let me start by saying that I feel awful for the servers. Particularly mine and the server in the section next to us, who were both very kind. This place is new, I get it, but you only get one chance to make a first impression and it was dreadful. Waited an hour for food and it didn't seem that busy to be honest. That's not the worst part.. Ordered the T-bone Steak and Eggs and the steak had a sour taste to it. Ordered the Blueberry Ricotta pancakes, let me remind you this is IHOP. The pancakes were starchy, flat and bland besides the ricotta topping. Hashbrowns were served almost raw. We ordered the Eggs Benedict as well and that was bland. Even the toast didn't taste good. Oreo milkshake and the orange juice were the only enjoyable items. Our server was great. So he can have the star. The manager or whomever the poor soul they sent to the table, was polite as well. Everything else was just awful. Lastly, enjoy the picture of the almost empty, comically large sized ketchup we were given.

Awesome place to relax and have your breakfast. The host Deandra hospitality was wonderful. She is truly a great asset to your restaurant. She took care of us well. Breakfast was tasty. Loved it. Pancakes are soft and melts in your mouth.

The IHOP's I know and love all over the US is 100 times better than what we get here in Canada. The price is doubled. The quantity is way less and nothing at all like the pictures and posters. The taste was lacking. For $25 you will have an omelette and only one side. Most breakfast places offer at least two sides like toast and potatoes. Maybe bacon, potatoes and your choice of toast or pancakes. Everything seemed so incomplete. Our waitress was incredible nevertheless and did everything to make up for the restaurants lack.

I don't normally write long reviews but this one neeeded to be documented. So like most of these reviews it was a first time pop up and the main reason It's a 2 and not a 1. Just to give a timeline we arrived at 11. Came in gave greeter name and # which is great most restaurants offer this. Waited 30 minutes for a notification and none appeared.So currently at 1140 Walked in to confirm that we had one and was ushered away to be seated on the patio. Took 25 minutes for a waitress to even come to the table. Ordered everything at once got drinks about 15 minutes later. Now at 1244 food appeared one at a time. All food presented at 1250. Finished the entire meal in under 10 minutes. My gripe is really this if things are moving slowly make the guest aware that it is reassure them that you will try to do better or offer what you can to ease them. But that's enough about service. The food itself is ok. Had the cheesecake pancakes, eggs with cheddar and sausage. Pancakes were probably the best of the meal because that can be served room temperature everything else was the same. So in turn I may update this my next trip but it disappointed me when I've been to others

We were so excited to try this new location. It’s big and clean. Our server was friendly and attentive. Food arrived fast and cooked well. Definitely going back.
