Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Store

I have been shopping and donating here for a good long while. I love shopping nonprofits trying to give back to the community and so on. This last year has been crazy denying donations, gently used items. Perfectly reusable. The attitude! From staff and donations is unbelievable. Like If you hate your job them, why are you even there. Money I get it working customer service is hard some times. I worked at a thrift store for 10 years and it was the best! Hard some times but so fun!nBut payette youthranch idk. Go in and shop, not a hi how are you, find everything ok? Not a word but to ask if i have a rewards number and if I want to round up which i always donNot a smile nothing. If your having a hard day dont take it out on the customer???nnI go to the ontario youth ranch as well they are always nice and not to mention thr prices are normal prices unlike payette who seems to triple the prices??? Paying full price! New price for second hand items is odd to me? Not to mention the waste.nOne day I was donating i has some trash and went to throw it away in the dumpster.nNoticed a bunch of children's clothes. not gonna lie i looked at them nothing wrong with them??? I did take them there was no sign saying it was prohibited i washed them and donated them to my church. Youth ranch is supposed to help the children in need? You may say oh well maybe someone thought it was a donation bin? Maybe but seems odd to me.. either way. Do better payette youth ranch.

I think the Ontario location is better they have better attitudes.

My wife and I went there to look at clothes. They had a great selection. We did arrive 30 minutes before closing so we were rushed and we couldn't try anything on. We did purchase 6 items and after we got home, in boise we noticed we were charged twice for 2 items. We called and left a message and never received a call back. Very disappointed with our visit. We would still appreciate a call back.

The prices are LUDACRIS. You can get brand new stuff at TJ Maxx or home goods for same prices. Was literally gobsmacked. 400 for a recliner, 500 for a mirror, 12$ for used kids shoes, 7$ for STUFFED ANIMALS, over 100 for a bookshelf. 6$ for used toy cars without their remotes. I'm stunned. Clothes are no better. Used dresses for 15$. How is this a thrift store???

I used to spend quite a bit of money at this store, but the prices are crazy now. I don't even go in there. And don't get me started on their donation hours. I just called and this lady said, they don't take donations on Monday and haven't for months like I should know that and Tuesdays are a maybe. We are moving and have a lot of nice things that will go somewhere else. I like to support local businesses but I don't like being treated like an idiot or paying $10 for a used shirt.
