I have lost track of how many times we have taken the initiative to call directly to straighten information out and be sure that we are clear about our needs and give them all the information they ask for... only to have the left hand not know what the right hand is doing, or if someone cannot access necessary information they don't actually know how to send us where to go (like playing phone call ping pong), or the paperwork sent in the mail is incorrect and we end up receiving so much wasted paper because their computer system is behind. These poor people. They're asked to work with such disorganization. Why do employees of H&W not have comprehensive job training, and updated data tracking systems, and efficient automated mail systems? It would save tax money and everyone involved a few headaches.

Worst place ever. Health and Welfare never does anything good for anyone! My husbanf and i live on food boxes because these people get paid to sit on their asses and spin a pen on their desk. It takes them weeks to call back, days to process small details, even longer to get it approved and never NEVER get paperwork faxed to them. We've sent it out three times now and they still claim to not have received it. Then its all about certain time restraints to receive something, certain days to process stuff. You literally live and are paid to watch hard working people who are struggling, starve. Gee thanks Health and Welfare you literal waste of taxpayers money for starving out my husband and i.

I felt treated with respect, and courtesy. The wait was not a long wajt. I think I was in and out with in 45 minutes.
