Ichiddo Highland Park

Was craving ramen during a work trip and a colleague recommended Ichiddo. Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food was outstanding! Lunch was fresh, full of flavor and just exactly what I needed. Facility is very clean and upbeat, but during lunch we mostly saw pickup orders so it was actually the perfect location for settling in to send a few emails between meetings. Can’t wait to visit again!

Very nice place. I went Sunday bymyself for a quick lunch. The music and hearing the chefs cooking provided a great atmosphere. I ordered kimchi ramen but replaced beef with fried chicken and asked for no bamboo thingies, I also gave Plum Wine a try. $5 for a glass isn’t bad at all. My server was very friendly and gave me quick, took my order quick and got everything right. Also bought a super cute panda bear keychain. : Great place if you go solo or with a friend

Nothing special. Pretty basic atmosphere, and food. Bathrooms are clean and boring. Parking is tricky in the area.

Delicious food and beautiful layout! Would reccomend to come eat when in St. Paul.

Staff was awesome. I got the kimchi ramen. Broth was really good. Apps we got the dumplings and pork. Both were cooked exactly right. Super delicious.

Got the chat siu and seafood ramen. The soup is on the salty side for me.

I came in specifically for Ramen. I ordered the teriyaki ton ramen. It came very quickly, maybe in 5 or so minutes. It looked delicious. The ingredients appeared fresh, but the meat was crispy, almost burnt it was so dry. The broth was exquisite; richly flavored, balance aroma, and not too salty. The fish cake was average and this dish didn't come with an egg, so I can't comment on their egg quality. Overall service was fantastic but the meat quality being overly cooked / hard is why I ranked the food slightly less. I will revisit Ichiddo but won't get the same dish. Vegetarian options: There was a vegy ramen on the menu and there were several apps that looked to be vegetarian. Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the ground floor with access from the street, and through two larger 38" doors. I didn't see auto open, but the doors pulled with light force.

I can't pretend to be a ramen expert, but I know what I like and this place delivers when it comes to taste, value, atmosphere, and service. We don't do take out from here although they seem to do a busy take out service because we like going here. It's a small but homey place. Service is always pleasant and food comes out quick unless they are slammed but the wait is always worth it. We've only tried the ramen and a few appetizers. Everything is delicious. I love the kimchi ramen which has the right amount of heat in the broth. My wife favors the crispy chicken ramen. The only knock on the place has nothing to do with the restaurant, but on street parking can be scarce when busy. However, it's definitely worth any hassle to eat food this great! Vegetarian options: They appear to have a variety of non-meat options although we are not vegetarians.

Definitely need some work. The noodles are fine but that's because it's not made in-house. The toppings is pretty basic and majority of it is still cold. The pork belly supposed to be the highlight but lacked so much flavor! The soup base is so salty and bland.

Teriyaki Tan Ramen was amazing as the flavors come from everywhere: the broth, the pork, etc. The chicken wings with spicy sauce and the jalapeno crab bites were delicious! I tried the coconut bubble tea which was a first for me and now I want to try them all. Great restaurant and friendly wait staff!
