Some of this is just due to things that they can not control, like the prices went up. That part is expected. But then they take things off the menu , but leave them as a choice. A choice you cant have. They have taken out half of the tables. And it is not a nice place to sit down and eat, I don't think they clean much. I would suggest just take your cheap food and run away. And I mean cheap not in price but in quality. Today was my last visit, I will not be going back. there was not one thing about todays visit I can recommend. Not the good food, not the atmosphere, not the cleanliness, not anything good to see here.
WOW!!! I'm blown away by the freshness and quality of the food! Everything was amazing...the chicken, the beef short ribs, the fried rice and noodles. I'm an over the road truck driver and this is hands down the BEST teriyaki I've had in all 48 states I drive in. I'd also like to mention the gentleman working there was super friendly and kind. Great customer service goes a long way because it's so rare nowadays. It made me smile I will ALWAYS stop here for an outstanding meal when I'm in the area. I'd give 100 stars if I could!!!
Since the pandemic, we’ve had many meals here. One of our friends that visits always requests we get Ichi teriyaki. Their portions are great, I’m a big fat dude and have a hard time finishing a meal, for my wife its always 2 meals in one. They just revamp the place maybe owner change? and now have a website w/ ordering which is awesome! The only change in food I noticed instead of the tiny “salad” they do double rice, which I like more. I buy their salad dressing in a bottle, so I can make my own whenever.
I love this place. I always order ahead. Now they have a much better online ordering system and it rocks. I never have to wait when i get there. The food is great! Much better than any of the other places for teriyaki in the area for sure. And if you're a "double meat" person like me, you'll never be disappointed. Totally reccomend 100%
The food is pretty good but the customer service is horrible. The gentleman that took my order got so upset when I asked for extra sauce, I evened offered to pay extra, he rolled his eyes as he grabbed the sauce. I still said have a nice day and he looked at me angrily and said bye with attitude. My experience was unfortunate because I actually like the taste of the food but I may not return now.
FREAKING AMAZING! This was my co-workers and I first time eating here and only ordered one thing we were really craving- Yakisoba! It was simply perfect, we did the combo which includes shrimp, steak and chicken. Every piece of meat had its own flavor and were perfectly grilled. Did I mention the size of the protein they served? These weren't the little pieces you usually see, they were large, hearty and in big portions. If you are looking for PERFECTION when it comes to REAL Japanese cuisine, you need to go there NOW! The gentleman that rang me up may be the owner, but told me that he was a chef for over 25 years and understands real yakisoba and doesn't recommend a lot of teriyaki sauce to keep the flavor. He was right, the flavor manifested all on it's own. I have already sent the pic of it to my partner and close friend letting them know I found Heaven. Big SHOUT OUT to the chef for finally creating something I can truly enjoy and brag about.
Ichi Teriyaki has a pretty decent sized menu with a good array of choices. Prices are pretty average here, but the staff is very friendly and food gets made fairly quickly. Their portion sizes are a little bit smaller than I would like, but the food is pretty good. They make sure each dish is saucy enough which is sometimes something that's lacking in other teriyaki restaurants. Their beef and broccoli is also pretty good.
Sweet and sour chicken is delicious, and they add on a side salad for only $1. Gyoza is good as well.
I have been here a couple times and I'm sad I haven't been here before! I swear the chowmein was one of a kind! It's so worth the drive from Auburn in traffic! Lol I'm excited to try other food!
New Owners are fantastic. The place is all digital now. Looks nice. They both greated me with a smile and took my order. Then thanked me and told me to have a good night. Actually the prices are lower by $1.00 on everything! If you would like a salad it's just 99 cents. I ordered the combination fried rice, filled to top with chicken beef and shrimp and pork. Plus egg rolls. Both were exquisite. I highly recommend Ichi Teriyaki! I know I will be back! New owners lower prices better food. Can't go wrong eating here. Kid-friendliness: Super friendly and Kind. Greeted with a smile and thanked. Parking: 50 Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out Dietary restrictions: They have it all!
