Ordered the chirashi and salmon lovers. Tldr only the salmon lovers was ok. Currently, chirashi don is priced at $24 original price but managed to get buy 1 get 1 on Uber eats. However, it's still not worth it since in total I only got 12 pieces of fish sashimi 6 slices of fish each don for $24 which is awful value for sushi takeout. This is likely the worst valued chirashi in Markham I've had so far. Salmon lovers is $27 but also has buy 1 get 1. This one I would consider a bit more worth it. Taste for both is very average and tasted just like any of these cheap sushi takeout joints. All in all I most likely won't be coming back or reordering.
Tried iChi Sushi for the first time via Uber eats and we really enjoyed our assorted order of salmon sushi/rolls/sashimi. The spicy salmon had a unique crunch to it, I liked it better than the typical panko used by most restaurants. They also used kale, beets, carrots and cherry tomatoes as garnish, which were welcome additions to the meal! Would order again for sure :
Decent sushi when they have a promotion going, but would not come back or pay regular price. Only giving 3 stars because of the good deal on Uber Eats, but the food itself was disappointing. There are much better sushi options in Markham. I ordered the Salmon Lovers combo - the sushi tasted no different from freshly made grocery store or buffet sushi. The salmon sashimi was fresh and thick. The rice was bland and could have used more seasoning. Spicy salmon roll was just a piece of salmon, some crunchy filling, topped with spicy mayo not blended together. Miso soup was disappointing as well - good portion, but very salty.
They were having BOGO on Uber eats so we ordered the black dragon roll and California rolls and together we paid $28. The rolls were pretty good, tasted as expected but it was a bit confusing to find the store. They share a space with palazzo lounge but we kept trying to find a store front that says Ichi sushi.
Used to be good, now going downhill. Sushi was not fresh, size of black dragon roll was way smaller than before, eel was so thin, will never go back!
Fresh sushi and good portion on salmon lover and chirashi deals from Ubereats. Seems like they can no longer be ordered from Ubereats unfortunately.
The service was friendly, but they did not put any soy sauce in the bag, and green dragon roll was quite small and lacking ingredients compared to many other restaurants at the same price point, it was mainly filled with tobiko.
Presentation is great and the sushi is cut nicely. I will definitely return.
The best sushi in Ontario. Just like in Japan
