ICBC Driver Licensing

Worst driving instructor of victoria. It was so frustrating day. It was my second attempt of class 5. he pointed out my 5 mistakes for no reason. In first attempt I only had 2 mistakes which was reasonable. In my second attempt I took care of those mistakes I swear but that old guy pointed 3 more mistakes along with previous one. He distracted me so much while driving. He was uttering some noises in his mouth. Which made me got so anxious. I was so confident about my test. I have 6 years of driving experience international as well with no violations at all. But still that unprofessional guy got me failed. There should be some sort of proof with us while driving so that they can't fail us for no reason and also if their mood is not good. Instead They should install some cameras or send their supervisor with instructor.nHe made me pissed off so bad. Something should be done so that no more people should suffer the same.

Just did my class 5 driving test with Brett and passed it. He is really friendly and also provided very clear directions throughout the test.nnHad a great experience, didn't really feel like I was doing a test. It felt more like a nice casual drive around the block.

Failed my first L to N test.nMy examiner was a tattooed lady.nI can’t remember her name and even if I did I don’t see why mention it here.nI think I did awesome on my first try. I was confident and using a driver’s school car.nShe did not get into many details nor gave me a plausible explanation for why I did not deserve my N.nShe said I did great TRUE. I did not miss any signs, shoulder checked, kept the correct speed.nHer reason to fail me was: My right turns were too wide.nI did not understand at all, as I always took the first lane available and did not invade the next lane at any time.nShe also said that I was “creeping out too much” literally her words at the intersections.nI moved forward as far as I safely needed to be able to see the cars coming before turning right.nThat day I went home destroyed and cried feeling like a complete failure for no reason. I did deserve the license.nnI did not give up and booked my second test as soon as I was allowed to. Now, using my own car.nGuess what? The first person I saw when I entered the parking lot was her, smoking vape. I instantly had a panic attack and got extremely nervous.nnMy second examiner was Paul. I’ll keep him forever I’m my memory. He was so patient and understood that I was under a lot of stress and anxiety.nOn my second attempt I was SO ANXIOUS, shaking and hyperventilating the whole test. I definitely did not do as good as the first time. Obviously, I did not miss any sign, speed limit or shoulder check. I was just not as confident and good as my first attempt. When we arrived at the parking lot and I parked the car, I was sure I would fail.nNot only did he passed me, but he also gave me tips. I was going super slow and doing the right turns as tight as I could because of the trauma from my first examiner. He told me not to go that slow or someone in the future would bump into the back of my car. After he said I passed, I instantly started crying because my nightmare was over and all the tension went away with my tears.nnI KNEW I was a good driver, I just had a really poor first experience that led me to think that I did not deserve my license.nnNow, almost a year later, here am I, a great driver! No accidents, no tickets, no complaints.nnThank you Paul for being so patient and understanding on such a tense moment!

I wouldn't have thought of giving this place five stars, but online booking of an appointment has really improved things. My wait after checking into my appointment was only about 2 minutes. They were completely on schedule for me. The entire process took about 8 minutes, including checking in, the photo for my renewed driver's license, and paying and everything. There was plenty of parking in the parking lot.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve dealt with in a while. Not only did I show up early for my test and then had to wait an hour past my scheduled time. My instructor was obviously in a bad mood and didn’t even apologize for the wait.
