ICBC Driver Licensing

Great experience at this ICBC driving licensing office. The examiners are super nice and professional. They help the student calm down and give their best shot at the driving test. My wife failed the first time but cleared second time.

I took a road test here today. Everyone was very nice and kind. They were really busy, but I didn't wait for too long. They have very good system. I also had the best instructor for my class 7 road test. Her name is Jessica sorry but not sure. She was very clear with directions, and very comfortable to drive with. She also gave me a very good feedback after test. Thank you!

Great experience with Alex! Took my Class 7 road test today and he was very patient and kind. I did not know how to turn on my low beams and so he showed me. I also missed a turn but he said it was ok and we continued the test. He gave me lots of warning for turns and lane changes and did not raise his voice or speak in a rude tone. I never felt rushed or stressed. At the end he congratulated me for passing and also complimented my driving skills. Overall great experience with this instructor! Thanks again. If you get Alex as your tester, you will surely do well and feel comfortable!

Today, I passed my class 7 road test and met super nice examiner in this branch. I forgot his name I only remember that his name started with D but he was very considerate and understood my extreme nerve. I was highly anxious and nervous at that time but thanks to his kindness, I was able to be confident during the test and I made it! I appreciate his consideration to make me relax and chill out.

I've been to this ICBC location a few times in past years and honestly it wasn't the best experience, - e.g. staff rushed you while you were putting back a mask after a photo shoot or they annoyed if you asked something twice... Well, I don't know what changed this place but now the staff is friendly and I felt welcomed. It's a pretty crowded place with a long waiting time, they seemed under-staffed but still, I could overhear how everyone works really hard to provide the best and friendly service. Pretty impressive.

I want to be honest with my class 5 road test in this location. The atmosphere itself is great, however this one examiner who I shall not name in this review failed me for the same reason when I failed the first time for my class 5 in another location. He’s VERY NICE but after saying I did pretty much perfect points but he then later said I failed only for shoulder checks when I was clearly doing it multiple times despite having a stiff neck when I kept turning and looking safely, I don’t feel it’s fair and I don’t want to spend another $50 to wait to do this road test again and it feels impossible getting a class 5. Examiners are really frustrating and annoying who are unfair.

I wish I could remember my examiner's name. I was too nervous, I guess. I had my class 5 road test for the first time; my examiner was very friendly and understanding. He was testing my skills and giving clear directions. When I read the reviews for this location, I admit I was freaked out. But I had a great experience from the moment I walked in.
