It's crowded, small, and a bit with down which is expected, as it's in the mall. However, it's fairly quick. Most of the workers are polite though direct, and so it's a fairly fast process.nnI've had two good experiences, one bad. Overall, I'd recommend it for license renewals and simple straightforward appointments. You should, absolutely, make an appointment. Expect to get there 10-15 minutes early. Expect to wait an additional 10-20 minutes.
Asian woman at counter 3 was very unprofessional behaviour . It was my first time there in metrotown . I’m not surprised by the negative reviews about her. This was the worst experience at an ICBC office in metrotown that I’ve had. I recommend going elsewhere to get your license. She was rude the moment I approached the counter with a smile. When I asked her about the required paperwork, she yelled at me throughout the entire session.and I now wonder how someone with such an attitude continues to serve customers.
Although visiting ICBC is often perceived as a daunting task, my experience at the Metrotown location this week was exceptionally positive. Although I didn’t have an appointment to renew my license and was concerned it might take a while, the process was quick, efficient, and seamless from start to finish. I was in and out in just 10 minutes. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and wished me a happy birthday. At the photo counter, the employee even took the time to ensure I was happy with my new license photo and signature. The whole experience was easy and pleasant—definitely a 10/10!

I had worst experience at Warf St. Victoria ICBC. Worst ICBC branch run by condescending and narrow minded ladies. I was scared to go here at ICBC Metropolis, but to my surprise, this branch turned out to be opposite of what I was expecting. Of course, the walk-in line was long, but it got cleared quite fast. I got my number and waited for about 40-45 minutes and it wasn’t bad as I saw that all were working diligently. There was enough space inside the office with decent social distancing, and many were sitting and waiting outside the office. Since this office is within the mall, we didn’t have to bear harsh weather conditions like in Surrey branch where I had to stand in the rain.nThe Asian lady officer was respectful and kind. She asked logical questions and was not mechanical but humane in her approach. She took my photo for the license renewal and showed it to me if it was okay. She would have done it again if I wasn’t satisfied with it. That is not the case in other ICBC branches. That was a nice gesture.nI think this was the best ICBC branch that I have been to. This is my second branch that I visited… hahahha. But just with the two, I can say that Victoria Warf st ICBC was the worst with worst lady officers and this was very good in their approach.
