View is absolutely gorgeous from the patio of this cafe but it can have better seating. Big glass walls of cafe allows unobstructed sunlight and warmth. Seats inside are very comfortable and beautiful. Yes there is scope to add more variety to the menu especially baked goods but whatever they have is good enough. Loved peppermint mocha here. Dishes are unique and very simple in taste. Vegetarian options available

Unfortunately my friend and I were not impressed. We both ordered coffees and both tasted like muggy water. I was never offered any sizes to choose from either. Mine was so bad that I only drank less than half before I threw it out. The flatbread was very small. And very cold and took about 25 minutes or more to make. Both the drinks and food are pretty expensive for not tasting so great. Not only that. My friend wanted to pay CASH for her meal and they only accept credit and debit ?? No cash ? I understand they just opened and maybe they are still getting used to things. Besides that stuff the service from staff was very good and the only food I thought they did a great job on was the Cottage cheese pancakes. The only thing I’d come back for is the pancakes otherwise I feel like the experience was just not a great one

Good coffee, good view, and even better food. Ordered a yogurt french toast and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was what’s expected of a good cafe, but the yogurt french toast was amazingly good. The acidity and sweetness of the fruit and yogurt balanced well, and the toast was nice and soft with a crisp crust. Chicken wings are amazing, very fresh, juicy and tender. The Korean wings stand well on their own but the dip is the best part! Can’t get enough of it.

I went to the newly opened Ibex Cafe today during lunch. I was surprised to see the restaurant packed and all the tables occupied. The employees were friendly however you could tell they are extremely understaffed. I ordered the butter chicken flatbread and a pumpkin spice latte. It took over 45 minutes for me to get my food. The portion size was smaller than expected considering the cost. It tastes okay but nothing to write home about. Coffee was decent. The other lunch main meals my friends ordered took a long time too. Be prepared to wait a bit until they get their service level adjusted. Overall, a nice addition to the Burke Mountain community and I would return to try some baked goods but not actual meals because those were a bit disappointing…

Amazing place!! Awesome staff memeber. They are all friendly and nice. The price is very much fair compare to Starbucks or other expensive cafes. I love hot chocolate here but the coffees here are fantastic. They use exclusive beans for themselves that you can't taste anywhere else. View is just beautiful. I would come back with my family more often!!

Finally, a cafe on Burke Mountain! It's got a decent selection of baked goods and a variety of coffee and tea beverages along with some cold drinks from local breweries and distileries. Shared a breakfast bagel, leek and parasan puff and a raspberry croissant with my partner. Wheelchair accessibility: They've got ramps and automated doors to access the building. Inside is fairly open, though if it gets busy it may be difficult to navigate with a wheel chair.

Update: It's now October 13th and they've missed their original target for opening. I am not seeing much activity around the coffee shop so I don't have a new date. I've messaged the owners. Stay tuned... Opening on October 1st. It looks awesome inside and the patio outside is definitely going to be a great place to sip on a latte, cold beer or wine. Burke Mountain has been waiting a very long time for this!

Excellent food and gorgeous views! We ordered a few of the pastries, the baked yogurt French toast, and the Korean chicken wings. The French toast was super light with lots of fresh fruit and housemade compote—I usually don’t like French toast, but this one was a treat, and I highly recommend it! The Korean chicken wings were also super juicy with a crisp skin, definitely eat it with the dip also housemade as it absolutely elevates it. Can’t wait to see their food menu grow as time goes on! Ambience is lovely with modern décor, the seats were super comfortable and had a good height ratio with the tables important for anyone looking to study there!. Definitely worth a visit, be it an afternoon study session, a meeting with someone, or a nice meal with views.

Expensive and not that good. I am willing to come back and give this place another try but my visit today was not the greatest experience. Service, while pleasant, took some time. They told us they ran out of regular milk and only had oat or almond, however for either of those options they charge $2 more.. and get this, caramel in your caramel macchiato will cost you an extra $1. So my iced caramel macchiato ended up costing $8. I wouldn’t complain about the price if the taste was any good but it was mediocre at best, very watered down and tasteless. Next up we had a Margherita flatbread, while the taste was pretty good for $16 the portion is very small, considering in some places you get get a large 14 inch pizza for such a price. A mocha, iced caramel macchiato, and a margherita flatbread was $33. I hope the quality and pricing changes but as of now I cannot recommend this cafe.

Lovely staff and atmosphere - the drinks are just right and not just a sugar rush unlike other places. Had a chat with the owner about the ingredients used and love the care put into sourcing every product. They use their own coffee beans and the espresso roast was amazing. The food was quite tasty and I loved the vegan and vegetarian options. Extremely busy spot and they seem a bit understaffed so recommend going with someone you enjoy the company of while you wait ; Huge patio with lots of space for any furry companions. The views are pretty from and around the cafe and the interior is warm and cozy. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the items on the menu.
