We stay here almost every second weekend during the hockey season, and it's always a pleasure. Always super clean and has really comfortable beds. The staff is amazing and makes you feel at home. Reasonable rates, and the breakfast has everything. High ceilings in the room and huge TVs. The rooms also have a nice lounge area. Once again, this place is always very clean, and the staff goes above and beyond expectations.
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Hotel in Prince George, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully designed, with spacious rooms that are both comfortable and well-equipped. The beds were incredibly cozy, and the layout of the room made it perfect for both relaxation and work.nnThe staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, offering exceptional service with a friendly and professional attitude. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the team was always available to assist with any requests.nnThe hotel's location is also a major plus, conveniently situated near restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The on-site amenities, including the fitness center and breakfast area, were excellent. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes.nOverall, it exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area—it’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and outstanding service!
Overall, its a decent hotel and located close to many good restaurants in downtown PG. The breakfast buffet was fine as well, but don't expect much beyond the basics limited selection of hot items, but it was included so can't complain. The staff is also friendly overall. Rooms are small but functional and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet.nThe main issues and why I can only give 3 stars is that there are issues with cleanliness overall. For example, a large pile of food crumbs sitting on the bench outside the elevators was there in the morning and still there in the afternoon when I returned. It was in one of the higher traffic areas of the hotel...impossible to miss. The gym was small but well equipped. There is a sign saying to sanitize equipment after use...but there was no sanitizer to be found. I mentioned to the front desk and there was sanitizer there the next time I went. I was also surprised to see that there were zero recycling bins of any sort anywhere in the hotel not in the rooms, not in the restaurant area...NOWHERE. So people just throw there single use plastic cups in the garbage. What a waste.
This was an overnight stay as I took the Jasper to Prince Rupert train which lays over in Prince George. Google street viewing the area around this and all other hotels in the town centre doesn't paint a good picture. However there was absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel. Check in was carried out efficiently and no problem with the room. Comfortable bed, bathroom in good condition and nice to see dispensers for shampoo, body wash etc rather than small wasteful bottles. Other facilities not all used like a coffee machine and WiFi worked fine. Breakfast was a self service and reasonable selection of foods. Some use of disposable plates and cups rather than proper crockery.
Customer service is always great here, the beds are by far the comfiest compared to any other hotel in PG. Breakfast is always delicious. If there is no coffee on really early in the morning, they will turn on and make a specialty Starbucks coffee for you. Location however, it being downtown, isn't the greatest. But they do have security there.
