Husky

On my trip up to Thunder Bay Ontario, I decided to stop into this Husky/Esso truck stop. First thing get fuel I bought over 450 L of diesel fuel. And then I parked for the night. Went into have my dinner. I ordered a hot turkey sandwich with gravy and fries.nCall it a night.nMorning came had my breakfast.nMy experience in the restaurant was typical Canadian truck style.nI also had a showernIn the video and in the pictures, you will see evidence of how disgusting the facilities are at this establishment. I am not the only one posting videos and pictures of this establishment. There are others experiencing the same crap. The only reason why I give you two stars is because of the food. Otherwise, I would give you a star minus. Remember, I filled up over 450 L of diesel fuel and I wasn’t offered a free shower or a hot cup of coffee/hot chocolate.

Worst experience ever. This was my first time I was travelling on highway 17 and I feel up from here more than 500 L Usually there is a complementary shower and almost all the husky pump stations if you feel up at least or more than 200 L, but that’s how you have to pay for that if I’m not wrong with that it was the owner of the gas station to whom I was talking to. What I ask him what’s the reason for not having complimentary free shower for truckers then he said that this order has been made by their GM. I don’t know who is he but I don’t think so. He can be the one on top of the Owner because if it is like that, then you must have to be careful about that cleaning process washrooms are very clean, but not more than a garbage bin . And I don’t know why their gym is not taking care of cleaning are ask their pump owners to take care of cleaning.nNot recommended

We’re travelers in desperate need of a hot shower and a washing machine and got both here super cheap!nTwo of us shared a shower for 7$ and could use washing machine and dryer for a total of 5$. Can’t get it cheaper!nWhile you wait for your laundry make sure to have some poutine in the restaurant.nAll staff was very friendly, we enjoyed warming up and getting things done on a grey cloudy day! Thank you!

I love eating at this fine restaurant. It's a great place. I even won a $1,279.50 NHL proline ticket here. I hope everyone will have a great experience as I did. Thank You and have a great day everyone

Too much house flies!! They have to have the back door open because the cooks are roasting! Come on owners!! Get proper cooling system so your staff aren’t feeling heat exhaustion while doing their jobs! Shame on the owners of this Husky!!
