Hunters Creek County Park

Great trails for running. Best mountain biking in the area. I actually felt like I was in the forest. Highly recommend visiting.

Stopped as a pit stop during a long drive for a work trip... What an awesome place for a trail run. Lots of trails packed in tight, with beautiful scenery around the river. Was pretty muddy in most places, but that was half the fun. Generally well blazed, but had to stop a few times to keep track of where I was

I love this park! It has numerous trails which are used by hikers, mountain bikers, and occasionally, horses. The creek cuts through the park, and you can walk along the ridge, enjoying the view of the ravine. You can also hike down to the water, and in warm weather, do some creek walking. It's perfect for snowshoeing in the winter, as well. It's a perfect little get-away spot, that is still close to home.

Hunters Creek Park is one of my favorite places to hike. Trails are well marked generally well maintained but can be muddy at times. Plenty of scenic views in all seasons.
