Story

We welcome you to experience a massage treatment provided by one of our registered massage therapist. We offer Relaxation, Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Myofascial Release, Oncology, Pre/Post Natal Massage, Sport Rehabilitation, MVA protocol, Trigger Point Release, Lymphatic Drainage and Hot Stone Massage in a safe, comfortable and relaxing environment. Our services include a variety of massage techniques that are designed to relieve the pain and stress related to day to day living, while aiding in the rehabilitation of physical injuries. Each treatment is customized to meet your specific needs by incorporating a variety of assessment and treatment techniques that are best suited to you as an individual. One of our commitments is to educate our clients so they understand their role in their rehabilitation process.
Our clinic has a registered acupuncturist on site that offers relief though acupuncture treatments. The benefits of acupuncture can be experienced in a series of sessions on their own or incorporated in a treatment plan which includes both massage and acupuncture.

Woke up with a weird knot in my neck so I gave them a call at 10:15 AM, went in for a massage at 10:45AM then walked out at 11:15AM with the pain in my neck significantly improved. Lisa was my massage therapist and she was amazing! Constantly assured me I could tell her if she was applying too much pressure and that she could be gentle. Grateful they accomodated me on such short notice. Only reason I gave 4, instead of 5 stars is because when I called in they said they do direct billing and when it was time to pay, there were some difficulties with their machine and I had to pay full price. This was not my expectation walking in. I was told they'd look into it and will still try to bill my benefits provider. Will update to 5 stars once the direct billing issues is resolved and I am reimbursed or if this turns out to be an issue with my benefits provider and not Hunterhorn. Overall, I highly recommend Hunterhorn for your massage needs!
I’ve been going to Wanda for a year and she is absolutely amazing! Her acupuncture treatments helped to remove the cysts I had in my wrists and help with the pain. They’re almost completely pain free now! I’ve also gone to her for cupping which has really helped with the tightness in my back. She’s very knowledgeable and makes you feel super comfortable. I highly recommend her!
I've had my share of amazing massages here at HCTMA over the years, but I have to admit I've been impressed once again! Jesse is one of the newer massage therapists of the clinic and after seeing him for a treatment, all I can say is WOW... I came with a few issues that were concerning me in my hamstrings, shoulders and one strain in my wrist. He was very professional in explaining the whole procedure and what approach we should take in order to feel relief in those problematic areas and also very thorough in his technique. Also, this review is for my fellow yogis out there: if you need a massage therapist that is specialised in Sport therapy and trigger point therapy that will understand exactly what you explain to him, go see Jesse. You'll be happy you did :
Jesse is amazing! I am pretty picky about what I need from a massage, and he delivered better than I hoped. Perfect amount of pressure, perfect attention to the areas I said needed work.Professional, skilled, just exactly perfect. Amazing experience, great price, direct billing, I couldn't be happier. I've been a client at Hunterhorn Massage for about five years now and have to say how pleased I am with their service and professionalism. I have seen Monica and Nicole in the past and was always very impressed but I've just had my second massage from Janelle Harms and have to say it was the best ever! I have been receiving acupuncture from Wanda for a couple of months now and each treatment is comfortable and relaxing. I was there again today and the session made me feel better and, as usual, relaxed. I certainly would recommend Wanda and Hunterhorn Centre of Therapeutic Massage and Acupuncture. Wanda is professional and very friendly.
My massage Therapist Jesse Sawyer just joined the Hunterhorn clinic from Goodlife as they shut down their massage therapy services. Jesse is an incredibly therapist that focuses on my specific joint pains and does his research so he pairs well with my physiotherapist. The office staff were very friendly and the environment was great. I recommend both Jesse and Hurnterhorn Centre of Therapeutic Massage as a whole.
Just had a massage with Monika today. She is great and very through. She was able to explain what she was going to do and what to expect afterwards. It is difficult to find a good massage therapist in town. I highly recommend Monika and everyone at Hunterhorn. Can book online, which is very convenient, and great therapists!
Monika is amazing! She is licensed massage therapist who is very attentive and completes a thorough assessment/progress review prior to each treatment. A very clean and relaxing environment without all the hoity toity spa decor. Scheduling from their website is easy and the service is reasonably priced. Qualifies towards health benefits claims.
I've been searching for an acupuncturist and stumbled upon Wanda Duong. Needless to say that I have now found my acupuncturist for life! Wanda goes above and beyond when you are with her, and is also very welcoming, professional, and absolutely experienced. She is the only acupuncturist I've met where her needles are guided perfectly with little to no uncomfortable pinch that happens due to the needle getting stuck in the first layers of the skin rather than the muscle! Her technique absolutely wow'd me! She provides an overall experience and offers so much more than just acupuncture. The entire time you are on her table, you are being taken care of internally and holistically. She has many different techniques that others have never implemented in my experience of receiving acupuncture, and she truly does take that extra care with you EVERY step of the way. She is also very accommodating and understanding, she truly just wants the best for your well being. She works hard to ensure that you are doing better and feeling better. She also makes sure to check on you that you are doing okay and shows that extra care each step of the way. She got deeper into my problem areas than most acupuncturists or massage therapists have ever gotten and I am now feeling great already after only two sessions. She also provides fire cupping which is a neat and rewarding experience. I personally have not tried the massage at this location yet, but I can absolutely say that Wanda Duong is one of the best acupuncturists I've seen and I definitely recommend those who are nervous about acupuncture to begin with her! Or those veterans as well!
