Food was tasty for a really good price. We ordered the tuna salad, and the hummingbird breakfast which includes hash browns, eggs, your choice of meat and your choice pancake or toast. Pancakes were really fluffy. Best of all, service was great, the servers were really accommodating. Would definitely go again.
This is such a cute find! I can't believe I only just discovered it! Don't let the kind of work interior deter you, this place has great food! I got a spinach and feta inlet with hash browns- for the sidd they let me do the red velvet pancakes that's really what I wanted anyhow and they were amaaaaaaazing! My dad got regular pancakes with some really thick bacon and he said his were the best pancakes he ever had! It was fairly empty at 11am on a Friday, and the food came quickly. I'm already planning to come back!
My family liked all the food they ordered. Nachos, Cheese Curds, Fried Cod, Cheeseburger, Kids French Toast, Kids Pancakes. I was happy they were happy. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich and it was the furthest thing from a Cuban I have ever ordered. Plus, the pulled pork was bone dry. It was just horrible. I wouldn't go again unless someone asked for it specifically. It would be a 1 if my family didn't like it so much.
Great food! Great service! The veggie skillet was the best I've ever had. Loaded with fresh veggies and cooked perfect. The pancakes were light and fluffy. Everything had a few taste like I made it in my own kitchen. Five star establishment!
I LOVE SMALL DINERS! This is a super cute place and the food was so good. I loved the staff, we went on a weekday for lunch and wasn't really busy. Would love to go back.Food: 5/5

This restaurant is comfortable to be in, and the locals know it! Good Basic Food, and that is what I need for lunch. They should have a special diabetic's menu, as all restaurants should. Diabetes is a nasty illness, and people who suffer from diabetes should get all the help they can get.Food: 4/5

Hummingbird Restaurant offers delicious food and good service in a clean environment. We LOVE their Sunday creamy chicken and rice soup served with garlic toast. They offer free refills on the bowls of soup. See in the pic my hubby has it with his breakfast. He can’t resist it. I felt like a good pub burger and wondered if they would be good here- everything else we’ve tried has been yummy. Wow! Delicious 1/2 lb burger with fries and it came with a bowl of soup! Service is good. Some remodeling has happened during their off time and servers seat tables apart and wear masks, so you know if you wonder about that sort of thing this year.
