I'm not sure how this place stays in business. The staff is friendly enough, but the selection is awful. Looking for stuff for my boys a lot of sizes were not available. Prices were also significantly higher than some other retailers without any appreciable increase in quality. My experience at The Bay was not terrible, but I an still unlikely to ever start my shopping there, meaning I'll only end up here when I can't find what I'm looking for elsewhere. That is not a good way to get customer in the door.

Great, top name brands, but you're gunna pay great, top name prices, their sales are fantastic so watch for them. The staff here can be somewhat rude and act like their doing you a favor by helping youoh please. I have shopped here, but, I'm not a frequent shopper here, when I pay top dollar I shop elsewhere....sorry, just being honest!!

I found their prices way too expensive for what they sold.  The store itself was clean and bright.  The staff were friendly.  I won't be shopping there again though.  I can't  afford it.

I really wish The Bay would get rid of their fragrance section. Or at least not have it open in front of the main entrance. I hadn't been in a Bay in years went there to get Olympic mits and toques as gifts, had a a migration for the rest of the day all through the Night... and for no reason because apparently Lululemon does the team Canada toques and mits now... ugh.  This is Hudson Bay as a whole, not this specific location... this location was friendly staff and a decent selection for the area.

Can't find help, overpriced Chinese goods. Come on, Hudson's Bay you can do better.

Very clean store. There is room to move around when you are shopping.

As far as department stores go it is better than any I've in for a while.  Huge selection,  many many brands. I can't always see how the cost can be so high on everything but it is at all department stores.  They have many High end brands. Inside the store that has really improved over the last few years.  If I were to shop at department stores I would frequent Hudson's Bay.

I like the clothing and jackets at the store and I am may be wrong but the supervisors at the store does not have a pleasant face and though I don't remember the date I have seen international part time student workers being questioned in the store and I strongly felt they are discriminated.  Yesterday my wife went to buy a gift for me and she told me the staff don't even smile to my little daughter who is three years old, so I can imagine how they treat customers especially immigrants. The billing counter staff looks as if we are taking stuff without paying and very rude looks. There are few staffs who are good to us but not all.

HBC has really gone down hill past few years. Very limited selection, low stock in this particular store in Sydney makes it difficult or impossible to do much shopping here. Staff are friendly and helpful, if you can find anyone. I honestly don’t know how HBC manages to keep this store operating.  I seldom see many shoppers here, compared to other HBC stores in other cities. It’s a bit sad because I like supporting HBC stores generally.

Went in to pick up some new clothes for an upcoming event.  While there were lots of staff milling about mostly standing around talking with each other - and very few other customers - getting any assistance was like pulling teeth.  I eventually gave up, and went down the hall to TipTop.
