We went on a howling dog tour for a mini honeymoon treat. We had a great guide and an even better time. We were warm, cozy and glad we did went on a tour. It was very clear the dogs were loved and loved to run.
Had an incredible experience dogsledding with Howling Dogs. Our guide was Faye and she was so much fun! You can ride on the back of the sled for a portion of you wish. The dogs were all super friendly and interactive. Would highly recommend, great way to see the scenery of the mountains. Dress as warm as possible, especially good gloves and double socks! Tours only run in temperatures above - 20 so that the dogs don’t get too cold, so just know that in case cold weather hits suddenly.
Awesome dog tour our musher harley she was awesome and the dogs were so excited and awesome also just all around a great lil experience the hot cocoa and the cookie break was great and they also give you an awesome lil souvenir photo to buy
Howling Dog Tours was incredible to work with. Extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. Everyone from Taylor in the office to Dustin who drove us up to the site to the Mushers went above and beyond to make this a great experience for our family of 7. Before using Howling Dog Tours service we had considered Snowy Owl Dog Tours and the difference in level of customer service was night and day. If you are looking for a tour that will help your family make the most of this experience definitely go with Howling Dog Tours
This was a great experience. So glad we got to go. First the mushers love there pack of dogs. They are informative and know so much about each dog. I was super impressed. We went at 2 pm on a Saturday and I feel that was perfect time. When the sun goes down it gets a bit chilly. The sled was comfortable and the views amazing. Would go again
My Wife Kyla and I got to experience our first time dog sledding together for my birthday. What a great experience for the both of us! We learned a lot about the history of the dogs and the sport in general. The views are absolutely breath taking and our musher, Phaye was so great to be with. We had lots of laughs together and it was clear to see how passionate she was to do her work. Very friendly and informative. 5 stars from us. Thank you!
Awesome experience. Can't recommend enough. I really enjoyed getting to know the dogs and the musher and hearing their stories, understanding how well the dogs are treated and of course the ride! Dress warmly and enjoy.
Totally worth every penny and more! We had Tanya as our guide and she was awesome. It was an all-around great learning experience from the bus tour up there to the sledding throughout the park. Rich and Tanya explained how well the dogs are treated and we even got to harness them up. 100% worth it.
We had the MOST amazing time on this tour through the mountains with the MOST incredible dogs. We were more than impressed with how well the entire staff treats each animal. The dogs love to run, and their job. It was truly wonderful getting to enjoy these incredible views, get to understand the sport of mushing, learning how the dogs are taken care of, and getting to interact with each animal on our tour. We did the 2 hour tour and stopped halfway for cookies and hot chocolate, getting to walk down to see the frozen lake and spectacular views. Our guide was very knowledgable and could tell you the personality, likes, dislikes, nature, and besties of each dog on his two teams. Our guide Joe, I think! was incredibly friendly, and we really enjoyed chatting with him on our tour about the sport. It was incredibly clear how much these dogs are cared for and loved, and how much pride the company and people at it take to keep high standards of the living conditions of the animals and the sport of mushing. Overall a 10/10!
Happy, healthy dogs, friendly and accomodating staff, amazing views! We had a great time and were really impressed, would definitely recommend
