Even though the hotel looks outdated from the outside, our room was updated and very clean. It looks like they are updating the entire interior of the hotel and it looks great. Front desk was very friendly and easy to deal with. Continental breakfast could have been a little better otherwise it was great for a quick bite and go. Location was good, especially next to a timmies.
Stayed here for one night with hubby and kids. The place is very nice and rooms are clean and pretty updated. We were pretty satisfied overall. Check in and out was very good, no issues, ladies at front desk were very friendly. We had some very noisy neighbors having a loud conversation at 12amwalls must be super thin and we tried to sleep through it but we just couldn't and I had to call front desk and it was addressed immediately which was so great. Only drawbacks were those terrible pillows that gave me such a bad headache the next day. HOTEL MANAGEMENT PLEASE CHANGE THEM. Also breakfast area is sorry to say awful. Way too small, guests were like sardines in a can trying to make their way past each other for food. Breakfast itself wasn't bad at all. Your typical continental breakfast which we enjoyed. My husband was super happy with Tim Hortons being a 30 second walk beside the hotelAll in all I'd definitely stay here again!
The place offers value for money however the layout of the floors feel like a medical facility and the $200 deposit is absolutely insane for this motel. We weren’t charged $200 in US for a 4 star hotel, not sure why they have this insane deposit requirement. The deposit was received the next day so they are quick to return but overall if they would bring it down to reasonable amount, it will invite more reservations.
This is a great hotel for the price. Our room was very spacious for 2 people. The bathroom was a bit small and could use some storage.
I have to start off by saying I’ve been travelling for the last six years on a regular basis for work and this is the worst customer Service n manager that I’ve ever had to deal with I was kicked out and banned from staying “ Even though it wasn’t under my name “because we were 10 minutes late coming down to extend my room she lied and said that they were sold out Which I knew they weren’t Because my coworker aka The person‘s name the room was under had reserved it online the night before and called front desk to let them know that we planned on extending the next morning which we had been doing for five days and had no issues prior to this but wat really gets me is I come back about two weeks later to check in under my name now not thinking there was an issue because she hadn’t mentioned that we were banned just said that the rooms were sold out and upon walking into try to check in, she was the only one at the front desk and proceeded to tell me that I am banned because the last time I stayed with them We were 10 minutes late coming down to pay to extend Which doesn’t really make sense to me because we planned on paying for the day so 10 minutes later or not it didn’t affect them not to mention we had a $200 deposit that they could have Very easily taken a late fee out of if necessary stuff like that shouldn’t be allowed. You should have to have a legitimate reason to ban someone from staying at a hotel.
