Room was a flash back from the 80s, relaxing and clean.

Stayed here over the holiday weekend and had a wonderful time. As always, the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Room which we were given was warm, well stocked and clean. On one of the nights, and despite a party in a room above us, room was still quiet (speaks to solid construction of the hotel, built in the 1920's. Great place to stay!

You will get better amenities at Country Suites or the Holiday Inn for less money than here. Room cleaning sucked they left hairy used soap in the shower. Seems like they don't put a lot of effort into making it a great hotel.

As of a few weeks ago, they're closed. Hopefully they'll find a new owner for this historic hotel. Stayed here a few times, and loved it.

I stayed in Fond du Lac for business for two nights and booked a stay with Retlaw on a whim--I am so glad I did! The rate was on par with other hotels in the area, but this hotel is beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel restaurant was really nice. The complimentary breakfast included a made-to-order omelet station, and at dinner, my steak was truly fantastic. I really hope that more people stop in and give this gem a chance.
