Horstman Hut

Horstman Hut is an amazing spot to hike to for lunch ... take the Blackcomb Gondola to the top and then it is about an hour / 1.5 hours up to the hut ... amazing views, very quiet / peaceful, serene beauty ...

loved it, hiked up from rendezvous. great views and fresh air that is so clear and clean you can feel it.

Pro Tip: There is no running water at this location - which means there is no 'free' water and only bottled water! Chili was what you wanted on a cold day and the ham and cheese croissant was pretty good too!

Very sunny exposed patio overlooking the 7th Heaven area. Food service & outhouse style washrooms.

Great spot for a snack and drink. Love that this place is quieter than Rendezvous, seeing as there are no easy runs down from Horstman all Blue and above. Drinks available: hot chocolate, coffee, soda and beer Food: cinnamon rolls, chilli, pie with bangers and mash Atmosphere: old wood and antiques like an old chewing tobacco can add a nice mountain top aesthetic Service: standard Whistler/Blackomb service

It is a restaurant high up on the Blackcomb peak near Whistler. We had to ride up from the 7th Heaven Express chair lift station, and the views from there of the Rocky mountain peaks were spectacular to say the least. The Horstman Hut is a log cabin like in the Swiss Alps, and we get some really hot pies, goulash, burgers and snacks. We went for the steaming cups of hot chocolates which got sold out before they could make the next batch, it was so cold. The views from the hut are awesome.

Located at the top of 7th heaven lift. It is a little shop with seating on the deck and inside. It is a great place to hide from high winds. They have hot soups, pies and sandwiches. Plus an asortment of drinks and snacks. Beer and wine available. Epic pass discounts do not apply at this shop, but the prices are reasonable for the luxury of having a shop at the top of a mountain. They do have a restroom.

Food was not great, prices were expensive. No plumbing, so bottled water only. Bathroom line was long also no flush toilets!. On the plus side, the hut was warm, the people were friendly, and the view from outdoor seating is amazing

Surprisingly good coffee, given that you are on top of a ski mountain. Somewhat limited food choices otherwise, but still a great place to take a break. Very pleasant service.Food: 4/5

Amazing view and great place to rest. Definitely visit here when you are up in blackcomb. Food and seating is limited and restroom has no faucet. But that’s why it’s named a ‘hut’.
