Horsepower Sports Bar & Grill

First timer here! Things to know that I didn’t. This is an EVENT only restaurant, no event-not open. Rink/event access through the restaurant so tickets needed to enter! You can also get spectators tickets for a table6-7 tables and watch the action. That’s cool! Your experience may depend on the view you take on this restaurant. If you look at it like an upgraded snack bar it’s pretty good. If your view is stand alone restaurant then… meh. Many other full time options are close by. The staff were mostly helpful. The menu small-ish with the usual options. Value was…? Quality was…? For me this goes back to how you think of the restaurant!? Great idea that needs some polishing.

Visited Saturday October 8, 2022, Colts vs Petes. Ordered honey garlic wings. Bit into a non-drum piece, meat was pink near the bone. Spit out into napkin. Tried the drum piece, worse, pink easily half-way in. Spit that into another napkin. Left both pieces on top of the rest in the bowl that the wings were served in. Now I know rarely to blame servers for improperly prepared food especially when it is not obvious like maybe mold on bread or fungus on something. I got the attention of the server and from about a 5-meter distance she said to my surprise 'No they are cooked.' Astonished I said 'no', to which then she came within 2 feet and she agreed and took them away. Not far away was a gentleman who apologized for the inconvenience. Finding out he was the manager, I mentioned to him that the server did not seem impressed at the start that I wanted help with deciding between 3 dishes place did not appear busy...sensing that, I just went with wings. He said he would talk to her. Now I am certainly NOT expecting anyone to get fired over this, but would it be unreasonable to be offered something else or get a comp item of similar value? I walked out. The only other thing I had was a glass of water. Never again.

I have been eating here for several years before the colts games. The staff are always friendly and attentive and food is a lot better than your average sports bar and most importantly the beer is cold! Definitely recommend.

I was there on Feb 11, 2023. I don't know if they were having staffing issues, or if what we experienced was par for the course. Several times, we had to ask people to move, as they were standing in front of the glass, obstructing our view of the game. We felt somewhat ignored by our server, as we didn't see her very much, and she mentioned how she hates being assigned our table. My cousin ended up going over to the bar to get another beer for him and our other cousin. When I got my bill, I didn't think much about it, and paid. When I got home, I double checked the bill, and discovered that I paid for a beer that I did not have.

Went for dinner before a game and left the restaurant after 1hr 15min without getting served my meal. Tables all around that entered after us were served and done eating when we left. The Waitress only came by once to serve a drink. Definitely will not be returning.Service: 1/5

Location is the only thing keeping this restaurant in business. Food was bad to inedible. I have found fries under my car seat that looked fresher than the ones served with our meals, they had to be 45 mins old. Party plater was burnt and cold. Asked for mild bbq wings and got what must have been their hottest sauce, when we our server to take them back she went to the manager who told her we can have a dipping sauce, that would do nothing to tame the heat that isn’t even a good hot sauce. Refusing to fix their mistake, I didn’t even bother trying to get fresh fries. Burger was alright. Took half an hour to get drink refilled. I recommend if you have to get a table here because the game or event is sold out otherwise that you walk to the concessions in the arena and bring it back to your table.

I'd give a 0 star if I could. I won tickets for dinner for 4 at the horsepower sports bar feb 4th colts game. We did not get menus until the 2nd period , food came at 3rd period COLD as ice, they remade my whole plate so I had to watch my family eat before mine even came. Ontop of that the manager would not give ANY discount any apology. We had a AWFUL experience eating there. I highly recommend you eat elsewhere before the game.

My family went for my son birthday. Most of our dinner was good but my husband dinner was supposed to come on a ciabitta bun and it didn't. Our server roller her eyes when we left a$20 tip. The security was rude when we were in standing room. The vendors and rhe managers of horse power were amazing.

I have been here 5 or 6 times and love it. Jen and Michelle are absolutely awesome! Go Colts!!

Came here before the Harlem Globetrotters game. The game started at 7:00pm, we booked our party of 6 for 5:45pm. We made reservations before hand also. Planning is always key to a great night! Where we sat in the restaurant we could see the early meet and greet events happening before the show started. The service was great and the food was delicious!! My party of 6 had a great experience and definitely recommend HorsePower Sports Bar & BBQ and we will eat here again.
