Twice they listened to their voicemails but failed to return the call; the first time when i needed urgent help for my injured cat and the second where i explained in detail what i wanted for his pawprint memorial before being cremated even though I specifically said that i wanted one when i was on the phone with them, and had already explained pretty much what i wanted. They told me to take the time i needed and still i hurried only for them to not listen, and to proceed in accusing me that what happened to my cat was only normal and to be expected given i had a husky and that they are “natural predators”.nDefinitely do yourself a favour and find a better vet that is actually caring and compassionate and not full of bias or stereotypes.nnAlso when i came to pick up my cats ashes i heard them giggling in the back about how ironic it was that i was picking up the ashes at the same time as they had another appointment with two huskies, very much not appreciated.
I’ve never encountered such rudeness or unprofessionalism at a veterinary clinic. I went to pick up a medication that had been ordered and paid for the day before, only to be told by the receptionist that there was no prescription on file. When I tried to clarify that it was a renewal and asked if she could speak with the person who placed the order, she flat-out refused, saying she “doesn’t talk on the phone.”nnAfter insisting that it had already been paid and arranged, she finally found the medication ready and waiting—exactly as we said. But instead of apologizing, she launched into a lecture about how the medication had been prepared yesterday and “should have been picked up then,” conveniently forgetting that she had just claimed we were supposed to wait 24 hours for refills.nnThe entire interaction was confusing, contradictory, and frankly insulting. The receptionist’s tone was dismissive and accusatory, and the lack of basic communication or professionalism is unacceptable—especially at a place meant to care for our animals.
Great veterinarians and very helpful staff.
Everyone there is professional, caring and really kind; the vets, the assistants, the reception staff. I really do recommend them. My dog Tubby, has recently passed away, but if I do adopt in the future, I know they will be my first choice.
