Ordered udon, tempura, and a roll. Quite pricey for the quality and amountsmall portion offered in my opinion - we were planning to get a bit more food, but decided against it due to this. There's nothing bad about the food or service itself, it tastes decent- not amazing, but not horrible. The little picture only menu was cute! Interior decorations are also quite neat.
We ordered 3 dishes and 2 rolls. Rolls were OK for us but it tooked an age to have unagidonburi. Until we asked when it was coming, the staff didn't mention anything about why it took so late. Finally it came until rest of us finished. Also there were plastic strings in udon but they didn't apologise to us. Just the staff said they have no idea what the string is . So irresistible!! DON'T go to this restaurant and they don't deserve to use Taegueksymbol of korean flag mark on their signboard. NO Korean treat customers like that.
Tried it for the first time tonight and it was really good! The cruncky roll was awesome. Already ate half of everything in these pictures
Had the crazy boy roll and teriyaki chicken roll. To drink, Earl Grey milk tea with coffee jelly and bubbles. I love every minute I was there. Cute place and friendly environment. Really good food.
Note: this is a review in comparison to Japanese restaurants in Vancouver and Kelowna. Sushi rolls: super pricey with respect to portion and have a little bit of fishy taste in them. Clearly not fresh. The ginger wasn't strong to the taste either. Bulgogi which my friend ordered: was surprisingly good! The bulgogi itself gives a reason for me to not give this resto a 1 star. On top of all pricey items: the food was served in a slow manner even though no one else was here and they demand a 15% tax, which is clearly unheard of in BC.
Service was excellent, fast and food was really good! We ate in after not liking the food options down the street and were happy with everything. Sushi was fresh, fried chicken was hot and tender, the veggies that come with the dish hit the spot. The people were lovely and there's wifi!
Love the crazy boy roll and their milkshakes. Not a long wait after you place an order.
We ordered the California roll, avocado roll, teriyaki roll and sweet potato roll and they were all super fresh and delicious! We also loved their strawberry milk special with passion fruit popping bubbles. The staff members were super nice and accommodating. Great takeout!!
The best sushi I have had for a very long time. Friendly, accommodating and delicious. Vegetarian options: Some great options and open to changing or combining options. Parking: Good location, with good parking
They don’t answer the phone so you can’t order takeout/pickup and I have taken my business elsewhere 3 days in a row because of it
