Hood River Dental

I can't say enough good things about the incredible staff at Hood River Dental. From the moment I walk in the door I feel like I am a part of a family. Dana or Bonnie greet me like an old friend. I am always brought back promptly, and rarely spend time waiting for my appointment. After walking through the lobby door, I usually bump into Sasha (if she isn't the one I am there to see for my 6 month cleaning and checkup) - she is one of the kindest most energetic people around, not to mention funny - oh and she is the best hygienist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The entire team of dental assistants/hygienists are top notch, friendly, warm and a delight to be around. Then there are the docs. These guys are Top Gun certified, just like Maverick. Any time I have had a normal check up, filling, or any other kind of more involved dental procedure - I am continually blown away by the professionalism, skill and extremely happy customer glow I have every time I leave or arrive at the office. Most recently Dr. Haynie, or Dr. Haynesaurus Rex as I fondly call him, repaired a nagging cavity and dialed in my bite so perfectly that I couldn't even tell where the work had been done. He takes my smile and how i feel about myself seriously. They all do. How about we talk about the two dental implants these guys have done for me? Dr. Madden, or Dr. M, has helped me truly get my smile back. Having a missing tooth for so many years, and then dialing in the perfect treatment plan, placement and final dental implant - left me feeling like smiling all the time. I'm smiling as I'm typing this...I simply can't stop! Beyond my smile, I am able to chew more easily on the left side of my mouth again, alleviating all that strain from chewing only on the right side for so long. Top to bottom these people, these friends as they have become, have opened their office doors as well as their hearts to me and my family. They care about me, they care about my dental health and general well being. They are excited when my name is on the schedule, just as I am glad to be on it. There are many choices for dentists here in Hood River and the greater Gorge area, and in my mind there is only one choice...Hood River Dental. Thank you for having me as a patient, my wife and when he is old enough, my son. Hugs and high fives to the best team under the beautiful Hood River sun. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Super service and very professional crew! Hygienist Alli was very thorough and did a super job. Dr. Haynie was very pleasant, and informative. Also, really enjoyed the visual presentation with great photos of the teeth and explanation of current status and plan of care. Thank you HR Dental!!!

Overall, my experience with Hood River Dental was great. The doctors and staff are very pleasant and professional, and the procedure (a double wisdom tooth extraction) was completely painless and cheaper than expected. I would've given 5 stars, but I subtracted one because my appointment was rescheduled 3 hours before it was to take place, having been set up 2 weeks earlier. They had scheduled me with the doctor who diagnosed me, but he doesn't do extractions. They were able to get me in only 3 hours later than my original appointment with another doctor, so it wasn't a huge hassle, but still aggravating. Like I said, overall a great experience, but with one hiccup. Will go back again for any dental needs in the future.

Everyone here knows what they're doing. My hygienist was so friendly and very thorough in her work. Professional, clean, friendly and a fun experience! I highly recommend seeing a dentist here.

Appointments are kept on time but in the rare event that someone is behind, Dana pays attention and let's you know what's going on. Dr. Andy is warm and caring and does a good job listening and doing what is needed. Nancy keeps my teeth sparkly and the reception ladies are all great!
