Very good food! Best I've found in the Chicago area! If you never have tried Filipino food and wish to give it a chance come here. You will not be disappointed. Very friendly staff. Very clean restaurant. Food was cooked to order.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
They have a huge party that time so we waited over half hour for a table for 3. Usually it was not that busy, we love the food so we waited. After we placed our order, food came within 15 minutes. Our server was attentive and nice so we couldn't complain. We would go back.Recommended dishes
This was about 5-6 yrs ago, since I had first gone there, but we had an amazing dine-in experience. First off the atmosphere was great. There were so many people. It was so lively with everyone going there to share the one thing in common and that was to have amazing food and looking around everywhere, the patrons were definitely enjoying theirs. Plus to see if it's a good Asian restaurant, let's see if there are any Asians actually dining in and YES, it was flooded with all types of Asian families, especially the Filipinos, so that was a good indication to me that this place was the real deal. All the food looked good, especially looking at the others' tables, it was difficult to actually decided what to get. I think we got the fried pork belly, which had a delicious crisp to it. It was like biting into a pork rind but then getting into some extra bonus pork meat afterward. It came with a Sachaa Chinese BBQ Fish like sauce. I'm not always a fan of Sachaa, but it worked well with this dish. We also got a ham shank stir fry, and that was amazing too. I don't know much about Filipino cuisine, but it did remind me of similar Chinese cuisine that I had had before and that just took me to a just-like-home experience. Lastly, we had a stir-fry noodle dish which, ya can never go wrong with that. And this was no exception, great tasting food, homey. It was a great place to go to, and I'd go here again, if it weren't 2.5 hrs away, but everyone that lives in the Chicago+ suburbs area are really lucky to have a place like this. It'd fatten me up in an instance, if we had one in Madison, lol. Thanks for the great food, and the service was fantastic. Very nice polite staff, very helpful with answering any questions.
Outstanding Filipino restaurant! I am giving this 5 stars for a suburban place. There is a better Filipino place in the city Chicago but this is my best experience in the burbs. I had sisig and the milk fish. They were both very delicious. The tables are far enough apart that you can easily converse while eating. My wife is Filipina and always orders way too much food when we are here. Haha! It’s worth it. Recommend: Sizzling Sisig, Bangus fish, Ampalaya, Sago Gulaman drink.
Pretty good food! I tried the chicken adobo, lumpia, pancit and the crispy pata. For dessert, I tried the halo halo. My favorite dishes were the lumpia and the pancit. The adobo was pretty good too, but I just love noodles so I liked the pancit a lot more. I didn’t care too much for the pata, but the skin was soo crispy! The halo halo was okay, maybe I just am not accustomed to it, but least I tried an authentic dessert! First time trying authentic Filipino food and it didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait to come back to try some different items.
I have now been here a few times with a friend and I’ve loved every single meal. I finally took my parents and family here today, and they also loved it. Food is always on point and so flavorful! Staff is very friendly. Love the chicken inasal the vinegar sauce , pancit, bbq skewers, garlic rice, lumpia, ube pans cotta, and halo halo dessert! This is definitely a go-to place for Filipino food now. Parking: Shares a lot with other businesses.
We went there to celebrate our 22nd year Anniversary today and I’m so happy with their foods and great customer service. Keep up the good work:
Good food and it is very diverse for everybody taste. Love the barbecue and sinigang na hipon . Means shrimp stew ... Nice
When you’re in town and you’re looking for a good Authentic Asian-Filipino food. Visit this place! They have one of my favorite appetizer calledSisigit’s one of the best dish they have on their menu. Delish! Their’s a lot to offer here, you will surely get what you paid for. The only cons is they don’t sell any alcohol. I hope someday I can have a beer here while enjoying some “pulutan.” It would be nice.
We ordered several dishes on the menu. I'd say some of the dishes were all right, and some were bland. Unfortunately, my family did not enjoy the foods. I am not sure if it has always been like that since it's our first time there, so I don't know. The calamares, tanigue steak, and beef kaldereta were good. The pancit or noodle dish we ordered was bland, and not cut for easier serving. We did, however, enjoyed the frozen brazo de mercedes version. The staff were courteous, and friendly.
