Recently moved back to the area and was happy to place an order for delivery again. The food arrived hot, the portions were large, and it all tasted delicious. Their Singapore noodles and fried wontons were on point as it was 3yrs ago so good that they were eaten before a pic could be taken sorry. Wow I can't believe I've been eating at this place for almost 30 years and haven't yet reviewed it. The food is good. It's Chinese made to order and it's not too expensive. Under $10 for a small meal and right around $15 for their lunches. It's good and they make it pretty quick.
Food was hot , portions were good food was very tasty , family all enjoyed. Prices fair will definitely swing by again .Food: 5/5
Tried the kitchen based on other reviews, and we were pleasantly surprised how good the food truly was. Crisp, fresh, and never soggy. They have yet to short us on meat or seafood portions, always stuffing the take out containers to the point of bursting. It has now become a regular stop for take out when we're passing through New Market.
Portions were good. Price is fair. Satay beef taste was average. The fried shrimp dish has too much breading.Food: 3/5
Went there today with my mother. We just happened to stop by it, as I had gone to the Carribean restaurant in next plaza over beside hong kitchen which by the way if anyone every wants good Carribean I suggest trying out that place. Well my mother felt like Chinese after driving by this place so she went in and ordered a dinner for one, she got the beef and broccoli, it came with fried rice, 3 chicken balls and an egg role all for $12.50 she ordered a wonton soup for $1.50 extra if you get the dinner for one. Needless to say my mother is very picky when it comes to food and she absolutely loved the meal, she said it reminded her of a true North American Chinese restaurant with good flavours everything was absolutely fresh and the Wanton soup was delish! Well from now on we will be going here when we want Chinese the service was fast and friendly as well a big +.
The food is absolutely delicious! Ordered create your own dinner for 5. Everything is fresh and it's not greasy huge bonus staff is friendly. My new favorite Chinese food place. Yum
Hong Kong Kitchen has been a welcome establishment in Newmarket for many years. The service is always quick and friendly and the food is always fresh. The Dinner for 4 for under $30 is a popular fantastic value.
It came recommended to me so we gave it a try....Im so glad we did! Food was great, service was great, prices we're very reasonable and food portions were pretty generous. Im confident in saying that Hong Kong Kitchen will be our new "go-to" place.
