I've been here about 4yrs ago and thought we'd go again. It's just an ok spot with decent prices. You order then pick out your drink from cooler. Your cutlery out of s bin. Many were not very clean and who knows who's been touching them all. But outside of that because I don't care that much but a heads up. The FOOD. Ordered 2 Chilli, he poured it into two bowls. Then put them in the microwave???? What! Wow glad I tipped. Go sit down and both are cold. Back I go for another nuke. Now they are hot. All the right Chilli ingredients BUT 1. The Chilli flavour. Omg meat beans and tomato no chili flavour. Well that's our last visit.

We just had Homestyle Deli cater to a Celebration of Life for a family member . We live in Thunder Bay and had to do all the arrangements online, we found Keith the owner to to very accommodating to our needs. The luncheon he provided was delicious and fresh. Finally visited this place after years of wanting to go. Quick, friendly service and fair prices. Sampled a couple of different sandwiches and the chili. The proof is here that simple foods executed properly = the recipe for enduring foodservice success. I shall return!

Stopped for a quick lunch on my way home. Ordered a soup and sandwich and also bought a butter tart for a treat. Service was quick, amazing and friendly. Lunch was delicious and fresh. Will definitely recommend a visit.

Always really good. Prices can be relatively high depending on what you order but you will get a really fresh and healthy meal. Staff is friendly and as far as I see owner really values his employees as his turnover rate is I guess almost 0 in 2 years. Place may not look extremely enticing in terms of decoration and to be honest can be misleading for potential customers. Don't think this is a mediocre place!!!! Recently I don't go there at all but I should go more often... This place is one of my favorite in whole Canada. This guy should open more branches all across.

Great food, and service. You can always tell a good place when there is a line of people going out the door to get some lunch!
