If your looking for computer parts ore special cables look on the web. For the same stuff u pay less then 1/2 the price they charge u.
Staff was friendly, the associate named Trent was very helpful and knowledgeable.
The people at HZE were very helpful and friendly, unfortunately they deal with Bell and consequently didn’t have the iPhone I wanted at a price that I could afford. They tried everything they could to make the deal go through but Bell was demanding outrageous deposits. I’ll be back when I’m looking for devices that have no connection to Bell. Incidentally, Rogers sent me home with an iPhone 13 ProMax with no money down and a similar monthly rate. Rogers is just as horrible as Bell when it comes to customer service but at least they didn’t “bend me over” before even becoming a customer.
While the selection is somewhat limited, there doesn't appear to be much competition in the surrounding area. Definitely some interesting things here, and whenever I visit the area, I used to check it out either for nostalgia or to pick up some gadget for my parents. Prices aren't always competitive, but that's fine. I inquired if their in store prices for tablets were correct as labelled. After cluing in that there were some Black Friday pricing still up over 2 months later?, they assured me they are completely allowed to leave those up as long as they don't advertise the incorrect pricing. This wasnt a debate I was looking for, just wanted to know if the sale was still ongoing.
Home Zone installed a new 65" 4k curved television and matching sound bar in our office space today. They helped us choose the right equipment for our needs, gave us a great price, and the install was perfect!! All wires are hidden away from sight. It is so sturdy that I am pretty sure that I could sit on the tv and it would stay attached to the wall. I couldn't have asked for better service or a better result. We have already used it to show of a website draft to a client and we were both impressed at how good the site looked in 65 inches of glorious eye candy!!

Took my Iphone 5s to have the screen replaced because the touch screen stopped working. One of the staff there told me it would take them 4 business days to order in the part and get it fixed. I called them 6 business days later and found out the girl who does the repairs had just gotten back from vacation. The part had not even been ordered and she said it would be 3 weeks before it would even get there! The cost to replace the screen was $150.00. I am not very happy with the staff at Home Zone for giving me the wrong info - had I known from the start how long it would take I would have immediately gone elsewhere and could have had my phone up and going a week earlier. I called Media Smart in Woodstock and they can to do it for $120 and they had the part already in transit and would have it repaired in 3 business days.
Sales people were willing to take time to explain and discuss our needs. Very helpful.
Home Zone Electronics always treat us well and are super friendly and courteous. If you want the best in service, go see Ken Moir. He's top notch!
Prices are on the steep side, but if you can't wait for Amazon, EBAY or AliExpress to deliver, then it's better than going without. However, if you need to have somewhere to go if something doesn't work right or need support for whatever you buy, then this might be the place for you.
