We are so glad we made the right choice choosing Holy Name Of Mary college school to educate our one and only daughter. Our daughter joined the school grade 8 in September. it is interesting to express that our daughter is always happy going to school daily. Our great joy for such a school that provides a balance of academics, engaging extracurricular activities, sports, highly qualified and amazing staff, always ready to support the girls academically and providing opportunities for the girls to become confident, successful and compassionate women in today’s world. We will choose the school over and over again. Thank you for all you do.
I attended HNMCS from grade 5-12 and it was such an amazing experience. The school provides you with so much opportunity to grow and develop in such a healthy and close knit community. From the vast extracurriculars I participated in all eight years, to the leadership trips, the classes and some of the most amazing teachers I’ve ever had, I absolutely loved my time at the school and reminisce on those days all the time. HNMCS prepared me for university so well, I felt confident going into post-secondary school, and was determined to lead my way through my four years of my undergrad. I am a proud alumna of Holy Name and I cannot wait to see the school grow further and inspire new generations of female leaders!
Our daughter moved to HNMCS for grade 9 and it has been a very positive experience. She is very happy and is thinking outside of the box. We reach out to the teachers and they are responsive and give wonderful feedback. Overall it has been a very positive experince.
Our daughter has thrived academically and socially at HNMCS since she began in grade 9. The teachers are phenomenal -- supportive, engaging, and pushing girls to do their best. She has been exposed to top notch teaching, and has learned how to learn. She will be well prepared for university in terms of critical thinking skills, organization, assessment and content. Our daughter has met peers who are equally supportive and friendly -- she loves going to school everyday. HNMCS, even through the pandemic, has turned out to be the right fit for our daughter.
Holy Name of Mary College school - Mississauga is such a wonderful school filled with Educators that really care for the girls. My daughter has thrived not only Academically but also she has an extended family community where she has felt safe and taken care of. The staff works tremendously hard to help the girls with their studies and I have seen great work from my daughter since attending HNMCS. She has not only thrived academically but she has also become a confident young women! Holy Name of Mary College is a wonderful school and we are so proud to be part of this wonderful community!
I have been thoroughly pleased with HNMCS since my daughter began attending HNMCS’s middle school. Our transition from the public school system to HNMCS was profound and has exceeded my expectations in every way. The class sizes are small and the teachers are caring, engaged and dedicated to the success of their students. Co-curricular programs offered at HNMCS are exceptional. Within the school is a strong sense of school pride and family. Notably, HNMCS prepares their students for success at university and beyond by promoting a welcoming environment that is conducive to learning and belonging. For example, HNMCS regularly schedules spirit days where students of all grades blend together in groups, to work as a team toward accomplishing a wide variety of tasks and challenges. Unfortunately, my daughters time at HNMCS has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Fortunately, HNMCS has handled these challenges exceptionally. Through remote learning, HNMCS has successfully kept learning fun, exciting and engaging. Even holding online spirit days. The bottom line, my daughter is very happy attending HNMCS.
Our daughter started at HNMCS in grade 5 - YR 2020 and is currently in Grade 6. Since at HNMCS - we have enjoyed dinner conversations about Aboriginal Affairs, Social Justice, Equality and her thoughts about the book they read in Grade 6, "Hidden Figures." The discussions have been enlightening. We are enjoying how she is developing into a young woman!
Our daughter just started this year at HNMCS in Grade 8. She was nervous about the transition. But she quickly made friends and found many activities that suited her interests. The teachers have made her feel very welcome and supported. There seems to be a culture of strength and kindness which we feel will help our daughter thrive.
HNMCS changed the trajectory of both of our daughters' academic success! We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible education and overall experience both our middle school daughter and high school daughter received over the last several years at HNMCS. High-fives and big hugs to all the educators, administrators, coaches, and spiritual advisors that make HNMCS a great place for young women to go, grow, and glow.
I attended HNMCS from grades 5 to 12. With its diverse academic and extracurricular opportunities, HNMCS helped nurture my creativity, curiosity, and leadership. Looking back, the medical science program at HNMCS has also broadened many of my insights into the health sector. Teachers were very supportive and eager to facilitate my learning, which has strongly prepared me for university and beyond. As an alumna, I am excited to see HNMCS flourish and continue shaping confident and impactful leaders of tomorrow.
