Holiday Inn Express Toronto Downtown

The staff front desk, both morning, evening and night, housekeeping, and those in breakfast are all very professional, polite, knowledgable, and friendly. The rooms were super clean and appreciated that the TVs were more updated than other hotels, and easy to navigate. Any service/restock requests/issues were very promptly handled by the team. I only wish they stocked more variety, and/or rotated items for breakfast, since it was a bit repetitive. As well as stock more herbal teas not just decaffeinated. It's a walkable area and felt safe, although it was cold and didn't manage to explore outside much. I would absolutely return again. Rooms: Well stocked with a mini fridge I don't think there is a freezer section, coffee maker and microwave with an empty shelf for storage. Beds are very comfortable and room 2 queen beds was spacious enough.

Spent a week here for a visit to Toronto. My room overlooked a beautiful cathedral and nearby park. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cleaning staff. Excellent location for walking to many areas of Toronto including the St Lawrence Market and waterfront. Breakfast is included every morning, eggs, cereal, alternate days of bacon or turkey sausage, juice, milk, biscuits, yogurt, oranges and coffee or tea. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Our refrigerator was not working, they promptly replaced it. Washer was on the fritz but they had it fixed by next day. Only downside was there was no guide for the TV channels. They said there was issue the cable company was working to fix. Not the worst thing that could happen. For a budget stay in a central location you cannot go wrong. Will definitely stay here on my next visit to Toronto.

The hotel is clean, safe and comfortable. Nice breakfast too! Location was good. We walked to the Rogers centre without any issues. Shout out to Ravish at the front desk. He was so kind and helpful! The rooms are spacious and clean! Looks like they’ve all been recently remodeled

Decent clean rooms with comfortable beds and lovely bedding. The tv was quite poor and had a weird aspect ratio to the picture. The included breakfast was outstanding with lots of both home and cold options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is very cramped and not much fun in a larger vehicle. The amenities in the room were limited to shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers in the shower. For some reason we were given a handicapped person room which was ok but not required or requested. All on all a pretty good stay. Wonderful location for our event.

The location is really nice, and the rooms are decent size. Cleanliness was lacking a little. I found hair in the bathroom in a couple different spots, particularly on the towels. The service desk is helpful and willing to accommodate guest needs

We were able to check in early and all the staff were polite and friendly. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location of the hotel was central to all our activities within walking distance and the breakfast was great.Rooms: 5/5
