I should get better, as all of us should, at leaving reviews for great service and products. So often all we see is the bad. But in my experience, for every bad experience there are at least 100 good or great ones. 2022 marks 20 years that I have been insured by The Dave Hogan Agency. Dave and his team have been amazing at all my requests over the years and have NEVER failed to take care of me in the best way possible. I quite honestly put them through the ringer especially on my auto insurance needs. Just recently I had a review on all of my policies. Jay was extremely helpful and when a coverage question came up that he needed to research, he actually did it, did it fast, and he even called me back. BTW, they always remember my name! What Jay did was not anything special for this great group of people as I'm sure they do this for everyone. I just wanted to say Thank you again for all you do. I and I'm sure everyone else appreciates the great work.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My story: Dad had Dave as an insurer before I even knew what insurance was. Naturally, when I started driving that is where I was insured. All good - time passes by and 16 years later at the age of 31 I am buying a home! So I decide to bring my two cars over and 'bundle' them with the home. We close at the beginning of February. March rolls around and I get a letter & a check stating that they are booting the home from insurance and we need to find another insurer. Where's the communication that this is happening? Oh that's right, Jay called the wrong number or so he said. Email? Nah, that's only for setting up the policy - not reaching out to inform me of an issue. But wait! There's more! They have the right number to call to invite me to their Top Golf event to talk about investments! Communication email, text, phone calls was stellar when starting the coverage and getting the vehicles brought over? Odd... Dave and his staff need to man-up and be an adult and learn to have hard conversations as grown adults do. This is the kind of behavior I would expect from a 19 old that hasn't passed his communication class yet. A course called 'critical conversations' would serve Dave and his team well. Very disappointed that I've wasted several thousands of dollars insuring my assets with this insurance agency.
Jay is awesome!!! Great customer service. Got me in and out. Treated me like I mattered and he clearly cares! Was unhappy about the call center that has been answering lately and we were thinking about switching insurances. Looks like Dave hired him because of those complaints and Jay is not a disappointment, good move.
Awful experience. Poor communication in this company. More interested in making sales than listening to clients about their needs and following through. Got in an accident, then found out my coverage was not what I had requested. Staff would not help me and gave me attitude and contradicting information. I was left on my own to figure out how to handle being in an accident and everything that comes with it. As this was my first time, I was scared and not sure what to expect and hopeful that my agent would help me through the process. Many promises to be called back, but wasn't. Had to eventually reach out to corporate to further investigate this giant mistake with coverage that left me in a bad spot as far as getting my own damages repaired. Rates might be okay with this company, but the customer service is absolutely appalling.
The Hogan team is alway easy to reach and quick to respond! Having the ability to make changes to policies via text is absolutely a life saver!
Auto Insurance way overpriced. Nice people but you get alot of voicemail action with this location. Not super impressed.
Been doing business with the company since 2006 never had any issues and always helpful in a timely manner.
Far overpriced insurance services, Hard to get a hold of office staff. I would look elsewhere.
