This stores a joke, everything is over priced, a lot of the tools, jewellery and electronics are priced at about the same as retail. The staff is just unbearable, the older lady that works the cash is a nightmare, such a rude, condescending lady even if you treat them all with nothing but kindness. It's like they have a grudge against humanity. Super unpleasant. Tested the waters attempting to sell an unwanted item, they gave me an offer, I declined for the time being, went back about a week later and suddenly he offered me quite a bit less (different employee). My thoughts is that they were attempting to take advantage of people in need of extra money during the holidays, I was not desperate so I took it upon myself and sold it for 3 times the price they offered the first time. Avoid and be warned about the grumpy older lady.

Hock and Save has always been the first store in town that I turn to when needing help with some extra cash, or looking to buy something used. I have always found them easy to work with, but they could be a bit more friendly. Overall I would highly recommend checking them out.

I went there before and their nice, good games and the price is not to high. They are nice with every body.

I recently had to Hock my camera for a couple of weeks. I brought it in with a full battery charge. When I went and picked it up the other day I turned it on only to find the battery was completely drained. It was not left in the on position and has never drained itself before. Even if it was left on it has an auto shutoff after 45 seconds. I believe someone there used it while in their possession. I won't be taking it back there again.
