Food is authentic and tastes amazing. We got the banh bot loc, large pho dac biet, and a large bun bo hue. The bun bo hue does have beef broth base with some chili oil or Vietnamese sate. The pho had all the reminiscence of beef bones and good beef fats. High recommend the banh bot loc appetizer!

Decent and quick. Plenty of Siracha and chili sauce to make dish spicy. Comfort food a good match for the cold weather.

Amazing Vietnamese Soups and cuisine. This non pretentious, cozy restaurant will amaze you with their selection of great soups, stir fry.and appetizers. Crab Noodle soup with a tasty tomato broth is amazing.

Hoang Lan Restaurant has the best Vietnamese Bún bò Huế in town. The restaurant used to take cash only, which I rarely go to because of that. Now they accept debit and credit cards as well. The staff and the food are excellent, especially the Bún bò Huế. It's unique, and you can taste it -- the soup is very flavorful! The best time to go is on a weekday. It can be a little hectic on the weekend; it gets crowded and limited seating, so you'll have to wait a while to be seated. Hoang Lan is the place if you want a savory bowl of Bún bò Huế.

The food is really good especially the special pho#20 and #14 and the pork spring rolls#09 with all the dips it was all very good and had plenty of meat inside of it I will definitely order again . Features: Mask and hand sanitizer gel practices

Food was great except for that sweet beans and cream dessert I ordered after my meal. It really just was confusing I didn't know if it was an experiment like for there kids science fair at school or an actual culinary creation out of Vietnam. I wish people wouldn't play with my food like they did at Hoang. Please take it off the menu and put something better & less confusing to our palettes.

Perfect. Walking in, warmth and community greeted us. Food was impeccable. Fresh ingredients, delightful, heart-warming broth in a steamy bowl leading to slurping, a delightful sound of nutrition and nourishment.Yes, do go. Review after the second visit 5 stars for food!!! Vietnamese noodles soups other than pho speciality The BBH and Bun Rieu is pretty much second to none in the Seattle area. The place is very small, parking is difficult, and service is as best as it can be because of the location and the amount of business they received. And yes I gladly go out my way and deal with all of what I mentioned above. I will continue to plan to eat here at least once a month! That's how good and comforting the noodle soups bowl are. The three go to order for us is large Bun Bo Hue BBH "rich slightly spicy pork broth with vermicelli noodles fresh veggies fixings", large Bun Rieu, and Banh Bot Loc! Sorry for no pictures because when we are there we get down to business to eat and leave so others can have an opportunity for a table spot. Plan ahead and give this place a try for yourself and let us know if this spot fixed that noodle soup craving!

I’m surprised Hoang Lan has such good reviews. The locals all know this kitchen is super dirty and you may find interesting toppings on your food. Here’s a fat fly I found floating in my to-go broth. I feel bad posting this but I guess this is how change happens.

The bun bo hue is fire and for a large you get a good amount of meat and noodle. Also they have fresh banh bot loc which is harder to find these days.Food: 5/5
