This was a great lunch, I walked in and was greeted immediately. At first, it seemed a little cold but noticed the hustle and bustle they were doing around the shop. I asked for my orderhalf chicken half beef, double meat over yakisoba and was met with a "yes we can do it for you". That was a game changer because I wasn't in the best mood when I walked in. The meal was prepared quickly but while I was waiting I was offered refreshments...awesome attentiveness. I received my meal, got home, and at first thought, it was a little off in taste but realized that it just wasn't as salty and drowning in sauce. My veggies were still crisp and added a touch of fulfillment, not needing to overindulge. So for a fast lunch that won't leave you wanting stop into LL Teriyaki.
$4 for 6 piece chicken wings. Which are 5 wings. Teriyaki bowls under $5. Small spot locals know about but come by its well worth your time and they are so nice owners .
I had low expectations from the look of the outside, but was really pleasantly surprised by the food. Tasty, cheap, and exactly as advertised. The spicy teriyaki chicken was actually spicy, and they serve the teriyaki sauce on the side. Chicken was good quality not too fatty, not too dry. Under $10 for the food and a can of soda. Come here! Looks like they need more business.
Why charge a 35 cent fee to use a card? I recommend another small business that charges the same regardless of payment
Most delicious Pho I've ever taste! Anything that you order it's going to be delicious, service, taste, size, just one of the best places in the Seattle area. A must visit restaurant! Thank you Lien the chef!
I'm a student that goes to FHS so there is hundreds of students going there every day during lunch due to it being locally owned. Quality of the food and timing are amazing. Same goes for the pricing and two kind staff ladies.
I've been eating here weekly for about two years, and there are a few reasons why this place has my dollars. Update, they've added something like "chicken fingers" to the menu, so if you like that kind of side order similar to french fries, you can order that here. And they've had bubble tea here for a few years. In fact, this may be the only place you can get Thai bubble tea in the immediate area around MLK and the Rainier Avenue intersection... First, everything is very affordable. You can get chicken katsu in a nice size serving along with rice, a salad, and soup for about $10.50ish. Most of their dishes are in the $6.50 to $9 range. Oh, yeah, they also have Thai bubble tea if you're looking for a quick sweet drink fix in the area. Second, they do a pretty good job with the diverse menu they have.I saw one negative review on another site, and it made me want to laugh. LL Teriyaki is a fast food restaurant. If you want to compare a fast food restaurant with some expensive Yuppie/Yappie sushi bar restaurant, you're making an unfair comparison. Fast food restaurants have to balance preparing some food ahead of time with on-the-spot requests, then provide the meal promptly without sacrificing quality. That's not easy to do, but they pull it off somehow. Third, the management treats everyone respectfully and even kindly. This restaurant is in the multicultural Rainier Valley, and all kinds of people feel comfortable coming in here to order their food. The public school students in this area love this place, and you can see them here during lunch or after school. Some high school students even pre-order their food by phone, then pick them up during lunch before rushing back to campus. As you know, young people are picky about their food. If they didn't like it, they wouldn't eat it, but LL Teriyaki is popular with the area's students. Fourth, these people work hard and honestly, from morning till evening. The current management/staff are immigrants from Vietnam, and they're building on the American dream with this small business entrepreneurship. McDonald's has enough of your money. Come and support a small & family business for once. These are the kinds of businesses we should be supporting with our money. This is a fast food place, but there are enough tables and chairs if you want to sit down and enjoy your meal with hot tea. Big screen tv and WIFI. They also do catering. Come on down.
Delicious food at incredible prices and the best service. Call your order in fit lunch because its always packed with high-school kids during this time.
Excellent food, cheap, and extremely accommodating! I'm sitting in the restaurant so satisfied that I had to review it. The owner doesn't know much English, but she is extremely friendly! Big smiles and not overbearing. They have a large menu with all the classic dishes you'd find at a teriyaki joint. Prices are really low!! Spicy chic teriyaki and 2 egg rolls on the side for $8 even! I'm stuffed! The chicken is some of the most tender and succulent I've ever had and her rice is perfect. The salad dressing has got to be home made and is absolutely to die for! compared to most you get with teryaki. Give this woman some business! She deserves it
Pork teriyaki was half onions, undercooked, and tasteless. Had to throw it in a skillet and fry it a while before I thought it was even safe to eat. I should have thawed out some meat and cooked. Or just bought a Subway sandwich. Have been eating and cooking various Asian cooking plain and fancy for over 50 yr, and this was bottom 1-2 percent.
