Hitchin Post Drive-In

This is one of those places that you have to stop in when you're in High River. It's been around for ages and is just a tiny little building on a corner, but do they ever make some excellent burgers and shakes. Try one of their many flavours of milkshake, and make sure to grab some of the mushroom gravy with your fries. You can't go wrong!

Pretty decent food. Burgers are decent, but onion rings and deep fried mushrooms are awesome. Shakes are pretty tasty too. Great old school style burger joint.

Stopped in for the fabulous food. Line up as usual. 50min later we got our name called. They were too busy with phone in orders to worry about the people who were standing right there. And the young couple who got served out the back door was a bit ridiculous. Love the food but I won't be back until they change the service.

Food was great and it had that old school diner feel to it. Had the mushroom burger, and definitely would get it again. Only complaint it was a little on the slow side for service.

Tried the mushroom burger for the first time. It was okay, not something I would go out of my way for. Happy to support local rather than a franchise but long waits and price point is not encouraging. Love the real fruit milkshake.
