Hippo Subs

Don't let the length of the subs fool you...they're pretty big around. And amazingly delicious. I always stop here when I come through town.

Bit pricy but good quality subs, I do eat here quite often if im in the area.

As I waited in line, I got to watch an employee argue with a customer over what the customer ordered (customer said they were given the wrong sub while the employee claimed the customer got what they ordered), gave me a bad impression of the place right off the bat. The place itself is tiny with only a couple of tables inside. Outside, of the three tables, only one table has an umbrella to provide shade. As far as the food - the subs were not all that great. Yes, the bread is fresh, and they put a lot of meat on it. However, the meat was virtually tasteless, and the veggies (tomato & lettuce) were just as bland. I was not impressed and will not be back.

The Hippo sub is my go to. Best sub in town.

The price you pay for what you get for such amazing subs is well worth it.
