Hillside Middle School

I would have you know, the principal at this school is very impressive. He is diligent to address matters including; bullying, (IF it's reported by the student through the bullying report that students can fill out anytime and it is anonymous-if he knows, he acts through monitoring to catch evidence:), he is professional, he is fair, he is organized, he observes his staff and holds them to a standard for academic performance (finds ways to help all intellectual abilities). He cares and it shows and this is why Hillside Middle School is a great place to send your student! I've heard people in the community say they would 'never send their child to a KPS school' but from my interactions with them, I don't see how they are drawing that conclusion for this place in time (2017) and under this principal (Mr. McKissack). I'm glad to have chosen HMS!! Thank you

Great school, great teachers, but the kids that go to this school aren't all great students!!!
