Don't expect your typical restaurant experience here. Bad behavior is not tolerated, as plainly stated at the entrance, see photo below. This is my second visit here and review, thought I would give them another chance bad choice. The server/owner is apparently, just naturally rude and is tolerated by the locals. I say this because a friend visiting from Florida, was scolded for ordering out of turn. She was told by the server that she would take her order, as her turn came around the table. Most places, out of respect to the only woman at the table, would take her order first. While waiting on our food, we got to witness the same server's behavior, being served up to an elderly gentleman across from us. Apparently he had broken one of the golden rules, on the rule board and was being disciplined for his bad behavior. I, along with my friends, were both shocked and embarrassed for the gentleman. The server/owner's behavior was both repulsive and outrageously comical at the same time. Needless to say I won't be back again. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Great food and great service. I myself have only dealt with Kim and Guy and they always greet me with a smile. Thank you for being a Pillar of our Community!
Excellent diner and authentic Mom and Pop. THE best broasted chicken dinner available as a special on Sundays or buckets can be carried away. Recommend checking out the pie selection or showing up for a legit diner breakfast with bacon to talk about. Friendly service, clean dining room, extremely well-priced. Highly recommend checking this place out and tell Kim and Guy I said hello.
Phenomenal breakfast food. I came on my lunch break and was hungry for some eggs and bacon. They portion size is great. The hash browns/home fries were crunchy and buttery. The eggs and toast were perfect. Quick service and polite staff. I will definitely be coming back.
Where should I start? The sign out front and Google map is misleading. First off, this place is NOT a steakhouse. There isn't much to choose from on the menu. Just because they offer two types of steaks, doesn't make it a steakhouse. The prices were ridiculous for the food you get. You can get a salad, but it's just a bowl of lettuce and purple cabbage with some shredded carrots and your choice of dressing. Omelets are square? I have never seen a square omelet until we ate here. All the food was bland and not filling. The special on the New York steak was the same as the menu price. So how is it considered a "special"? Anything you asked for comes with the response of "we don't have that" or "that's going to cost extra" The servers didn't go out of their way to make the experience any better. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone let alone eat here again! I wonder if this place has had a health inspection recently?
Took my wife & granddaughter to Hill's because the food is always hot, tasty, and don't forget a slice of homemade pie. Anytime we are near Napoleon, we stop for great meal. Parking: Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to get into and be against a table.
Limited food choices, adding anything as our server pointed out "costs extra" and don't ask for croutons with your lettuce salad "they don't do that". Please don't call your self a steak House, two choices for steak that is too dry. None of the food had much flavor. Just over all not a very memorable or enjoyable experience. Spent almost 50$ for four people and no one cared for thier meal. My wife had the New York dry strip, my girls for French toast and I went for the western omelette. None of which was worth the cost nor worth talking about other than to tell you to keep going.
<1 mile off US 24 and delicious steak and eggs! Strong brewed cup meet my search for "coffee shop". Will stop again next time thru area.
Wonderful home cooked food like Grandma made. Wonderful welcoming Waitress & Cooks.
Wonderful small family restaurant! Great tasting breakfast! Excellent service and very clean restaurant! Well experienced Waitress was hustling around to serve all diners during covid restrictions and no help! Hopefully they are still in business on my next trip in area! They said looking to hire quality waitstaff ! Please stop in and give them a chance to serve you!
