Tried for the first time. The ambience was good but the service was not. I kinda felt it was rude and not at all welcomingwent straight to the point. Ordered Tequilla Shots and Red winelocal for the table with Crab Poppers to start with which were good. Also ordered Mozza Sticks but they were just too saltynot worth it. Later ordered Chicken Burgers2, one with Yam Fries and one with Regularon side with Moscow Mulenot good,had better. The total came to be $70, too pricey! So frankly not a fan and won't go again.
Fantastic space for eats, drinks, and games. A wonderful socialhouse located in Abbotsford with lots of character and history as well!
Watched UFC here. They even show prelims. A great selection of reasonably priced food
If you're looking for a pub experience with excellent food, service for an amazing price Highwayman is your place. Everytime I have gone the service has been pleasant and very quick. When ordered my food comes quick and hot and typically served by the cook! The prices are the best in town for what you're getting. I highly recommend the burgers or beef dip, yum! Looking to have fun for less then $25 for a night out? Highwayman is your place!
The perfect place to go with people you don't want to spend time with. The canned music and noise are so loud that you couldn't expect to have any sort of meaningful conversation with anyone. We left before the entertainment started. Have the people with you order the Fish and Chips. I ordered Fish and Chips. I got the Chips and something that very much looked like deep-fried cardboard. I have had really bad food before, but I think this really is the worst I've ever had. The waitstaff were the bright spot of our visit.
Great fun and wonderful service. Staff very friendly and professional. Food was very good with a great of verity to choose from. Burgers were cooked and served to perfection. My friend had stake sandwich which she said was very good.
You can expect good pub food and service. Menu is fairly diverse. The pub is showing its age but is pleasant. Be aware that, along with the rest of the world, staffing can be an issue, and the hours may be more limited than expected.
My husband and I have frequented this pub alot in the past 8 years,however in the last few months the quality of food has gone down hill alont. We were there tonight my husband got the fish and Chips. What a joke. Fries are filler and fish that looked like card board.frozen from a box. Menu has been cut in half as well as the portions. Don't look at the photos. They don't represent what they have!Might fill a 10 year old
My friend and I went to the Highwayman for some good pub food. Too bad the "music", and I use the term very loosely, was cranked up so loud that my ears were almost bleeding. My wrap was really good, but my friend had to send his back. It was supposed to be fish and chips, but looked like badly breaded cardboard with fries. He said that the fish was from a box of frozen fish, and was absolutely tasteless and looked even worse. I wanted to like The Highwayman, but between the insanely loud "music" and the lousy food, we'll never go back there. I'd give it zero stars if it were possible.
Doesn’t honour their own coupons. When you promote your business with 25% off meals and drinks coupons with no limitations, you would think it’s off your entire bill… nope. Apparently they can just change the offer at any time and limit you to 1 drink and 1 item of food after you already ordered and budgeted for 25% off your table’s order. Total bait and switch. Do not go here!
