Have been camping here for years.  With the bike trail, the river, and town all within walking distance, there is always something to do.  I would recommend Hwy 250 to anyone that wants to see the scenic Lanesboro.

Highway 250 Campground is a special place to relax and walking distance from Lanesboro to get an ice cream cone, lunch, or shopping and visiting a winery.  John, the campground owner is very nice and helpful to make sure your camping experiance is a good one.  John sometimes makes popcorn for the whole camp!  He has tube, Kyack and canoe rentals plus a van or bus to drop you off so you can float back to camp. The bike trail has an easy access from camp. We've never had a bug problem here!
