After spending the morning walking around Ottawa, we wanted to find someplace nice but not too expensive to eat. Came in here because of the fish and chips special. Was really impressed with the fish and chips here I live in New Zealand and this was way better than any that I've had there!. Friendly staff and great service.
Good food, great atmosphere... But disgusting ketchup bottles! Pretty much ruined it for me... When mentioned to our great server, were told that a memo was recently sent to ensure that the ketchup bottles were not discarded??!! Kind of ruined it for us... Makes you wonder what else in this kitchen is in this condition?
Very decorative interior. The men wear kilts. Service was quick and the food tasted great. I recommend the Scottish southern fried chicken.
Really nice place to have a good beer and duck wings We got there for dinner Eat too much and came back in the late evening because I wanted more duck wings franks redhot & honey and the Buffalo/Ranch sauce are both really good
Great bartender. Nice atmosphere. Never seen so many bottles of Scotch before, perhaps, someday, I will try my 1st Scotch here. Live music was good too. Will be back
On the big screen there were shows about scotch and not sports. The scotch that was recommended by the staff was excellent. I requested a scotch with a caramel profile and that is exactly what I was recommended. Mmmm good.
