Larry just completed a new wood stove & chimney installation for my wife & I up in the Red Feather Lakes area. We couldn't be happier with the new wood stove & Larry's service. Larry took the time to instruct us on the operation of the new wood stove & left us an instructional booklet he has put together for ideal fire building & operation. We feel much safer with the new wood stove & chimney than the old system. If you're looking for a new wood stove, fireplace, chimney or service on an existing system, I would not hesitate to contact Larry & High Country Stoves.

My landlord had purchased a stove from high country stoves. After a few months the blower on the stove stopped working. I called and ran through all the troubleshooting steps and I couldn't get it to work. So they set up a service call under the warranty. They sent a guy over to fix it. After about an hour of working on it they called my roommate downstairs so they can explain the proper use of the blower. Then says nothing was wrong with it. So, later our landlord gets a bill for this. The reason for this bill is because they said there was nothing wrong with the stove and therefore it isint under warranty. So today I went in to dispute this charge. The man at the desk called over another man in the store and asked him about what he did when called to service this stove. He admitted that he had to "jump the coil" to get it to work properly. They said it was not broken so it didint fit under the manufacture warranty so that is why there was a bill for this. This was billed to the landlord, not me. But I don't think my landlord should be charged for this either due to the unit requiring service to work properly again. The stove was purchased only around 6 months ago.

I LOVE our new top loading woodstove. It is so easy to load up with wood, and the burn time is 15 hours. It has so many great features! Larry and Lily were awesome in explaining how the various stoves worked, and helping us to choose the best one for us. Although we opted to install the stoves ourselves, they cheerfully gave us the plans and also helped immensely in gathering the various pipe and things that we needed to install it. I am looking forward to being a lot warmer this winter!

Larry the owner called me. He explained his position and assured me my needs would be taken care of with regards to my pellet stove. That's the customer services I've known them for and once again they have a happy customer who would refer others to their store and products. I know they are busy during this season and appreciate there help.

Larry installed a wood burning stove for us and the install was flawless, stvoe works great. Also we have a pellet stove we were having problems with, he knew exactly what the problem was from what we described it was doing. We bought the part he said was the problem, I installed it myself and it works great. Thanks Larry. Rusty and Renee
