I love this place. Doug and Kathy work extremely hard to take care of the guests. Everything is so well organized. I can't wait to go back!!

Cathy and Doug Johnson, owners of Hideaway Lodge, always make our groups feel welcome; more like old friends than guests, even. Comfortable, clean, well-equipped cabins are invariably ready on our arrival. When we arrange for meals in the lodge's dining room, the helpings are generous and food varied and delicious. Hideaway Lodge is both an excellent stop-over for trips north or a terrific home base for fishing Clearwater (Burditt), Pipestone, Rice, and other lakes. Doug keeps the driveway, docks, boats and motors in tip-top condition, too. We would not consider staying anyplace else!

Best lodge on the lake. Super friendly folks run this beautiful lodge. Great fishing guides and hospitality!
