We are a family owned and operated cafe featuring gourmet coffees, teas and smoothies. We offer fresh food at reasonable prices.

Story

Always on the look out for good coffee, we decided to open a place where there is always good coffee, a warm atmosphere and a place to talk about good.

Our initial offerings will consist of select coffees and teas, smoothies, gourmet soups, salads, sandwich and eclectic breakfast fare.

Most restaurants have hits and misses, it happens. I think we came on a miss day. My wife and I were just starting our vacation and decided to try this place looking at all the great reviews. 

The greeting was good our waitress was not the most attentive being that we were the only ones in at the moment. She would just disappear.

What was also weird was we could also here staff discussing about dishes not being washed correctly the night before (they were out on the floor).

I ordered the shrimp and grits which was pretty good. My wife ordered  the chicken and waffles and that's where we had trouble.

The waffle was ok, she gave us this white sauce for the waffle but it just tasted like milk????? 

The chicken had a thick coating that tasted like either it was cooked in old grease or fish grease. The major issue was that the chicken was slightly under cooked. My wife had me double check and I confirmed. 

Once we were able to locate our waitress we had her look to confirm and she took the plate immediately to replace but it was a wrap. 

Again with all the good reviews I can see this just being one of those off days. I would like to try the place again but not sure I can convince my wife to return.

I love this place! The owners treat you like an old friend each time they see you they are so kind. The food is absolutely wonderful. I usually order the catfish dinner with roasted sweet potatoes. And if we don't feel like going out we will order and pick it up.

So we looked up restaurants near where I was at and found this hidden jewel. Had the Catfish and grits which was amazing!! My husband had the shrimp and grits also amazing. Live band was so delightful literally enjoyed the musicans!!!!!
The crab legs were great as well.  All the kids enjoyed themselves ages 13-16 which is different for teens and no complaints about any of their food. Total of 8 and we have to  give 5 stars!!!

The food is off CHANGE, the service is Top Notch. My server was a personnel sweet Young women. I wish everyone could go there and enjoy the food and everything they have. I was truely happy.

The food was excellent.  The place was clean and very well organized.   The staff was polite and professional.  Our waitress was Tar had great conversation.  Like being at home. Enjoyed the entire Friday night.
