The staff is friendly. Your coffee cup will never be empty. The food, however, leaves something to be desired. The potatoes overpower most breakfast plates. On the other hand, the french fries are great! All the food is filling with large portions. Just your typical breakfast/lunch restaurant in my opinion.

We stopped for a quick breakfast. The food was very good, but the service was outstanding. Wishing Blueberry Hill continued success! It stems from your people! Kitchen and floor staff, just great.

Tasty food, but slow to arrive and the toast was cold. Our waitress was new, and so completely understandable as she is still learning, but we had an eight person party and the check was split (at the beginning of the meal) into two parties. When it came time for the food to arrive, she brought half of the table out about 10 minutes before the other half, which meant that they were waiting on our food. When our food did come out, the toast was cold and needed to be sent back, which took another chunk of time to come out. The food was very very tasty, but the service left something to be desired.

Worst breakfast ever. Had the Canadian scrambler. Eggs hard (knife and fork hard) and dry. Canadian bacon? Not so much. It was chopped ham sandwich meat. Spinach? Well, it was green but.. The hash browns should more aptly be named "mashed browns" because the potatoes had been boiled to a pulp. The toast was served cold and dry. Who serves toast without a bit of butter on it? And then there were pancakes. Cold, dry pancakes, and a waffle we wanted to try because it was supposed to be apple cinnamon. Having made apple cinnamon waffles before out of batter containing both apples and cinnamon, I expected the same. What we got was a stiff waffle smothered in a sort of applesauce affair. It was pretty awful. It should have dawned on me when I saw the blueberry pancakes were just pancakes with a handful of blueberries on top. We were a party of 4 - 2 kids and 2 adults. The bill for this fiasco was $60. My taste buds ache for the people of Homer Glen as this appeared to be their only choice for brunch. Next time we find ourselves stranded in the country we'll stop off at the gas station for snacks and take our appetites back to Chicago for some real food.

Excellent breakfast or lunch. Great menu, large portions, good service. Usually a crowd on weekends but they move fast.
