The food is really good, so nice to have an authentic ramen place close to home vs having to drive to Markham. The bubble tea is so yummy - the caramel jelly, what a dream! Also, just love a place with deep fried pickles. The service is fantastic. The chef came out to thank us. Will definitely support them again!
So impressed with the takeout I had from Hey Moo Moo. The honey garlic chicken rice bowl and gyozas we're absolutely delicious! Most authentic East Asian food I've had in Stouffville, hands down. I will definitely be ordering from here again and can't wait to try out other items on their menu.
We've been wanting to try this place in Stouffville for a while now but haven't had a chance to go before. Decided to use the free chicken wings promotion to try out different menu items. We ordered a grilled chicken ramen with pork broth, tender beef ramen with pork broth, honey garlic chicken fried rice, signature milk tea, taro and mango slushes. We got our 12 free chicken wings in honey garlic sauce. The chicken wings were the star of our meal. It was juicy and crispy and sweet and overall delicious. The ramen were better than anticipated, the broth tastes clean and not overly salted. The honey garlic chicken fried rice was also very tasty, the chicken was crispy and the rice had a nice smokey soy sauce flavor. The drinks on the other hand, other than the signature milk tea, were a definite miss. A regular sized taro slush with tapioca came up to over $7 and it tasted very un-natural and powdery. The tapioca was also not tender and chewy enough. The signature milk tea with caramel jelly was pretty good and I would get that again if I'm too lazy to make a trip to Markham. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed the food, would definitely come back to eat but skip the bubble tea slushes.
Don’t mistake this as another milk tea shop. It is first and foremost a noodle place serving some of the best ramen in this town only ramen shop here actually! They have a select menu which makes selection process easy. I have tried all the types of ramen and also the fried rice and from the appetisers the spring rolls and wings. I absolutely love their Mala and tomato broth. It’s nice cozy place to enjoy a meal alone or with company. It’s a family run place serving some amazingly delicious comfort food! A must try for all especially during the cold winter.
We noticed a new restaurant serving Ramen in Stouffville so we knew we had to try! We dined in and ordered the Grilled Chicken Ramen, Honey Garlic Chicken Wings, Thai Spring Rolls, and for drinks the Signature Milk Tea with Caramel Jelly & Tapioca and the Mango Slush with Popping Bubbles. The pork broth in the ramen was a bit light for what you might expect but still tasty to me and the noodles had a good, proper texture. Bowl size was average but I was able to share well between myself and my 5 year old daughter. The wings were nicely crispy on the outside and the meat inside was juicy; it wasn’t overly slathered with sauce. For the milk tea, I couldn’t adjust sugar level, but the source of most of the sweetness seemed to be from the caramel jelly. Also, the tapioca seemed to be a smaller size than standard and didn’t have that good bouncy chewiness to it you’d more likely get from a dedicated bbtea shop. Mango slush was still quite sweet for my liking despite being able to request no sugar. Overall, staff was really nice and courteous, food and drinks were tasty. Seating is a bit sparse 5 tables right now but the atmosphere felt bright and clean. The menu was slightly different than the ones I saw in reviews before I decided to come, so I posted shots of the menu as it was during my visit last weekend May 2022. I’d give my experience full stars and would recommend friends and family to try it out. I lived in Asian-foodie central Markham for 25 years up until recently and I want to support more diverse food options in Stouffville, so I would say this place holds up pretty well. The bbtea could be improved, but I won’t dock points for that as this isn’t a bbtea shop first. Looking forward to visiting again and watching this shop evolve as they get settled in!
Cozy restaurant with good atmosphere, clean, fast service, tasty food especially the wings, crispy and juicy, nicely done. Good promotion currently going on as well - free 12 wings when you order 50+, unfortunately we didn't find out until we are done eating, but the owner said she will honor it the next time we visit, hats off to her.
I ordered the Spicy Mutton Mala Ramen. It was absolutely delicious. It was a perfect amount of spice and kick to it. Portion size was perfect too, not small and not too large either. Their bubble tea drink with popping bubbles was refreshing and tasty. Friendly service. Will definitely be back again.
Food was so good, I only caught a picture of 1 shrimp roll...the rest were gone. Really enjoyed the ramen. Staff were friendly. The only reason I didnt give a 5 star is because I found the spicy tender beef ramen had a flowery flavour that I wasn't a huge fan of but it mellowed at the end. I'll definitely try a different kind next time.
Second time getting take out from Hey Moo Moo. I always crave for ramen so super happy there is a ramen place near me now that is affordable and very tasted. Also highly recommend their wings! We got it both times and both times they have been crispy and juicy especially that we got it as take out. Highly recommend you to visit
Good food and the staff are very kind. I recommend the honey garlic chicken rice, and it’s worth trying their bubble tea as well.
