While the atmosphere was fantastic, the service was terrible, the food was not as good as it used to be.I'm so sad.The calamari was cold and rubbery.But we do love the atmosphere at this place. We never had a waitress.We couldn't order after for more.Because there was no 12 see and then we had to ask to pay.
We enjoyed a family lunch where we ordered chana battura and dosa. The sambar was outstanding, though the chana was slightly sweeter than expected, and the coconut chutney didn't quite meet our expectations. While the atmosphere was pleasant, we were unable to sit by the window as those seats were reserved for elderly patrons, despite the restaurant being nearly empty.
Finally a place that serves delicious Indian food. The staff were friendly. The mulligatawny soup was so comforting. The Biryani was just yumm.nnWe did visit again this time for Chole bhature and Dosa. They did not disappoint at all. It was extremely delicious. Their quantity is also great. I highly recommend this place.
Shahee paneer was really good. Combo dishes are the best. We got beef coconut and butter chicken. They have child mild spicy option for the ones who can’t eat spicy food
This is my go to place in Nanaimo for Indian food. Samosa chat is delicious and highly recommended. Prices are competitive and above all the service is top notch. Both Preet and Akshita were our servers at different occasions. The girls are polite, attentive and quick. Their humble demeanor is a breath of fresh air. We always feel welcomed here.
